Chapter 2: Joining the hunters

One day, he was as sunbathing on the sun, relaxing with his phone on the wooden table beside him. He saw a fleet of hunter ships in the distance.(his house is next to the beach)

He smirked closing his eyes, feeling as though advent was coming his way. He unfolding his wings laid back on the chair and took a nap.

He woke up to the clanging of metal, and the creaking of ship.

He looked around, on the far end of the beach there were about 10 hunter ships being pulled to shore. There were also some hunters spreading out around the island.

He stretched his body, put his hands in his pocket, retracted his wings and walked to the ships casually.

As he came into view. A hunter pointed at him, and a commotion began. As he walked nearer and nearer, the hunters drew their bows, swords, maces.

August lifted my hands up in resignation and surrender. Shouting "woah there! I'm not here to fight or anything. I need to talk to your leader as this is my island. I'm okay if you want to capture the dragons and stuff I just want to make some negotiations and discuss some boundaries."

They looked at him suspiciously, as who August assumed was the highest ranking officer, whispered to another hunters years, and the other ran to the ship.

August sighed and sat on the ground, lying down and looked up to the sky, closing his eyes again.

The next time he opened them, he was met with a sword to the throat by none other than Ryker himself.

August chuckled goodnaturedly and said teasingly "hey man I'm not that into sword play before fore play but with looks like that I don't mind bending to your preference."

Ryker snarled at August, putting the sword closer to his neck. "Demon creature, what do you want."

August slowly and carefully pushed Ryker hand while sitting up saying "hey dude. I'm just here because this is my island and I want to establish some boundaries. As for demon creature. I don't know whether to be mad or not but I'll take it as a compliment as demons sound pretty hot man. So thanks I- "

August was cut off by a snarl from Ryker.

"Hey man what's with the snarling. Chill out. I like love over there," August says while pointing to his house at the other side of the beach.

Ryker squinted his eyes, while nodding. "And I just wanna say that I'm okay with you guys catching the dragons and stuff. I just want you guys to hopefully be aware of my house and keep away from it, as I don't want it to get destroyed in the midst of a fight or something. we good?"

August patted Ryker's back as he stood up again.

Ryker silently nodded his head.

August smirked, patting his shoulder saying "bye hunter, don't destroy my house." With a salute wave August walked calmly back to his house. Feeling like everything is about to change.

Later that night, Viggo, who was actually on the ship the entire time, and Ryker talked on what they were going to do about the demon.

"It seems that as long as we dont bother him he wont bother us. Our plans remain the same. And hopefully, in the end we can achieve some sort of alliance and maybe future agreement and subordination with the creature." Viggo says calculatively, smirking.

The next day with the hunters...

They were hunting a dragon when yelling sounded in their ears.

Ryker looked off the cliff to see a shirtless August riding the waves on a surfboard doing tricks while joyously whooping.
