Chapter 3: Plans, Ranks and songs

Viggo brought August to their base by boat. On the way there, August, now called A by all the hunters as it is shorter, was talking to all the hunters, trying to lighten the mood. By talking to the hunters, A found out many things about Viggo's hunter army.

Number 1, compared to the army, their ranking system was shit.

Number 2, there are only a couple of hunter teams.

And thats it... the hunters did not know too much about the organisation. He did ask what they were paid, but very little. But on the other hand they did have laoging and food. So...

Viggo brought A to the base where Heather was also brought to.

As the hunters stepped out of the ship much happier when they sat off. They were all full of smiles as a guy with horns stepped out singing "the lions sleep tonight."

A symphony sounded throughout the ship as different voices blended together.

"A-wimbewa. A-wimbema."
"Hai-ya haiya-babayo"
"Haaaaaaaaa"

The vikings at the port were very shocked, they were more shocked at the singing then the fucking guy with horns.

"The lions sleep tonight!" the demon looking guy sang, hitting a high note, and kneeliong down on one knee with a hand facing towards the port. The vikings on the ship supporting him in a chorus of sounds.

An annoyed looking Ryker stepped out, with Viggo in front of him.

'How on earth did this idiot, got the other idiots to sing. How did he even know all of them!' questioned Viggo in his mind. While Ryker was mad at the decorum of the soldiers, visibly looking very annoyed.

A loud sudden "Nant's Ingonyama Bagithi Baba! Sithi umm... Ingonyama!" snapped them out of their musings.

A, after seeing them step out of the boat from the corner of his eye, sang a famous line from the circle of life.

He stood up, and twirled around in an army like manner, to face Viggo and Ryker.

He had taught the hunters on the ship how to sing the lion king song, he also taught them one other thing.

"Hunters!" A said with a loud booming voice.

"Salute President Viggo and General Ryker."

A stomped his feet on the ground and yelled "SALUDE!"

A resonating stomp was heard as the hands were brought up to their forehead. While the hunters at the bridge who had no idea what was going on, tried to copy their compadres gesture in a similar manner.

Viggo and Ryker continued walking forward. Ryker was silently impressed at the display. While Viggo was annoyed at A but enjoyed the feeling of everyone saluting to him, although he was unsure of what the title of president means.

As Viggo and Ryker passed the vikings, their hand dropped to the side, when they passed A, A immediately followed them into the tent while everyone else went back to work. The vikings on the shore was immensely curious on what the hell just happened. And questioned their comrades. Their comrades said that the figure was a new addition of the army, and from now on when either Ryker or Viggo pass by them they have to do the salute motion.

When the tent flap closed. A excitedly asked "So, how is it? I told all the vikings on the ship that from now on when they see you they have to salute. They will be telling thew other Vikings now. This will allow them to have a sense of their surroundings, and understand their authority. I also have plenty of other ideas, i gathered information on the ship on how your organisation works and even though i don't know some parts i have ideas on how to improve it from my experience in the army and all that."
