[TW: this is inspired of a story on Quotev about a Mary Sue named Stargalaxy called The Tale Of Two Sisters so there will be mentions of bullying and neglect but nothing too horrible.]

In a hidden glade deep within the dimension of the Eldermyst Forest, where sunbeams danced through a kaleidoscope of leaves, two winged cats soared effortlessly through the air.

Their wings, delicate yet strong, shimmered like the morning dew, leaving a gentle breeze in their wake. One was a rare calico tom, his wings speckled with a constellation of blue feathers, while his companion was a fiery ginger, resembling the setting sun.

They glided silently through the forest, discussing matters that were grave for their world.

"We can't allow another world to be tainted by their kind," Lupine Song muttered, her voice resonating with determination. "The Mary Sues are multiplying and it's just getting unbearable. They are both a curse and a mockery of our craft."

"Agreed. Each one we encounter dulls the beauty of storytelling, and the story.. it just becomes bland and predictable with all those nasty overpowered characters with horrendous colours," Lake Shadow replied, his eyes narrowing.

Then, he pricked up a curled ear. Something potent swirled in his gut; the feeling that something was wrong was getting stronger with each wingbeat.

"We're close to the heart of the problem," he meowed. "I hear the ghastly whispers of a clan just thriving on their presence. We have to find the source of this infestation."

With a shared nod, the two winged cats dipped low into the forest, skimming the treetops as they scanned for clues amidst the emerald canopy.

As they swooped past ancient oaks and fragrant blossoms, they caught whispers of the melodious yet overly dramatic voices of the clan ahead—a sure sign of the dreaded Mary Sue.

Lupine Song and Lake Shadow frowned as they flew closer to the sound of the noise, but before they could get far, an active rustling broke through the air.

"Shit, possible witness. Abort!" With that, both elder siblings darted into the nearby trees and lay low atop the closest sheltered branch, Lupine Song's flaming fur hidden under the leafy canopy while Lake Shadow's own calico patterns camouflaged him with the canopy.

To their utmost shock, a few moments later two terrified, alarmingly thin kittens who looked barely four moons old came running through the bushes, their eyes wide with fear as blood dripped from wounds on their flanks.

The strange thing was, these kittens were not Sues. One, a she-kit, had a charcoal tabby pelt, a short tail and pale yellow eyes while the other, a tom-kit, had dark brown tabby fur, white paws and light amber eyes.

Lupine Song and Lake Shadow barely had time to process what they had just seen when another cat, a larger one, crashed though the bushes, and both had to hold themselves back from throwing up their lunch after turning to see who it was.

Out of the bushes barreled an abnormally fluffy, eye-bleeding she-cat with a dark purple and neon orange pelt, a white star marking on her forehead and bright glittery rainbow eyes.

Lupine Song balked and Lake Shadow nearly fell out of the tree gagging at the sight once they noticed that the Sue also had literal diamonds encrusted on her flank. "She's so bright I think I'm going blind," groaned the Pyro.

They perked up their ears, however, when the Sue screeched to a stop under the trees they were hiding in, and they felt as though their blood was about to boil after hearing the next words out of the Sue's sparkle maw.
