When Ryan got ready to go to the office, Shamir Shah gave him a file on which Waqas Khan's signature was required. Usually all the files were signed in the office but today Waqas was not going to the office. Rayan took the file and went to Alina's house.
Waqas, Mahira and Jameela were sitting in the lounge. Jameela again brought up the topic of Alina and Rayan's divorce.
"Waqas this is the right time, you should go and talk to Shamir, then I can start preparations for Javed and Alina's marriage very soon."
Rayan who was coming to the lounge after inquiring from the servant had heard this. He had stopped there after listening to them, then controlling himself he came forward and greeted them. Waqas and Mahira were shocked to see him there, thinking he might have overheard their conversation.
"Hey Rayan, come sit son", Waqas said to him while quickly regaining composure. Mahira also asked the employee to order some breakfast but Ryan refused saying that he had to leave for office and he had just had breakfast.
"Uncle, I need your signature on this file", Rayan extended the file towards him and sat on the sofa.
"Yes, Shamir told me, I have a meeting with a client today at the hotel so I have to go in that direction"
"Yes uncle", he said smilingly
Jamila was sitting with a very stern attitude and did not talk to him. Rayan asked about her well being and left with the file. Rayan went to the office with Shamir but the whole day was spent in trouble.
Alina came late from college today. She had to submit an assignment due to which both of them were late in returning and on their return they also had to buy stationery. It was around 8 o'clock when she came and the atmosphere of the house was pleasant. Her mother hugged her as soon as she came and blessed her for a better future. She was happy but also surprised to see her mother happy.
"What happened Ammi? What are you so happy about?"
"It is a matter of great joy, son. Today evening Shamir bhai and Zainab bhabhi came home and they have asked for the date of departure." The one who was smiling earlier was now replaced by surprise and along with it anger and some resentment.
"And what did you say?"
"We have given the date of next Friday, one should not delay in doing good deeds." Alina did not say anything, she could not stay there for long and went to her room.
" Woh mere sath aisa kaise kar sakta hai? Pahle usne mujhe jaleel kiya apne dost ke samne meri burai karta raha..... phri humare rishte ko thukra kar dur chala gaya lekin mujhe kaid karke rakha aur ab wapis laut aaya hai meri zindagi ka bacha hua sukoon chhinane..... Khud ko samajh kya rakha hai isne " She was roaming around the room thinking. Trying to control her anger, a tear came in her right eye despite not wanting it. Wiping the tear, she drank water from the water bottle kept in the room and went to the balcony.
When he saw Rayan in front of her, her heart was filled with anger and bitterness. She looked at her with burning eyes.
Perhaps the heat of Alina's burning eyes was such that Rayan also felt it. Ryan looked at her and then smiled, but Alina felt his smile was no less than poison. Alina immediately went away from there and Rayan's smile increased even more. Then he started remembering the incident of last evening.
When.......
In the evening Ryan came back, he freshened up and came to the lawn where everyone was sitting to have tea. He also sat there.
"Mom-Dad I want to talk to you about something", his tone was quite serious and both of them started looking at him.
" Maine kafi soch samajhne ke baad ye faisla liya hai, main chahta hoon ki aap Alina ki rukhsati karwakar use le aaye " They were both surprised
"You have taken the right decision" Shamir was happy. Zainab too got up and put her hand on his head and he hugged her.
"Dad you both go and talk to them today itself" He couldn't wait any longer.
"Yes son we will talk today itself", Zainab said. She was happy with the decision taken for her son. After some time both of them went to Alina's house and talked to her.
