Chapter 3 : Rishta pakka

" We haven't thought about it yet", said Waqas

" Decisions about a daughter need to be taken after a lot of thought", said Mahira

Waqas took a deep breath " I know we are a little late for this, but still we have come here", said Shamir after using his words after some thought, then Waqas and Mahira started looking at each other with some confusion. Shamir and Zainab looked at each other, then Zainab signaled them through her eyes to say more.

"We have come here to ask for Alina's hand in marriage with Rayan. Rayan cannot find a better girl than Alina", said Shamir directly.

I love Alina like my own daughter. When the kids were small, I didn't just say that I will make Alina my daughter-in-law. Rather, we really want Alina to become our daughter-in-law." When Zainab said this, Waqas and Mahira became silent for some time. A satisfied smile came on both their faces.

"You have said what was in our heart, we also wanted the same", said Waqas. Zainab who was waiting for his reply for so long was now relieved. Shamir's face also lit up with happiness.

"You have ended our troubles. We were confused about that relationship for so long. Rayan is the best for our Alina", said Mahira happily.

"To kya main ye rishta pakka samjhu ?"

"Ha, ha bhai ye rishta toh pakka ho gaya samjho , ab toh double khushi hai apni dosti ko rishtedari mein badalne ki ", Waqas got up and hugged Shamir "Congratulations brother"

"I will bring sweets" Mahira went to get sweets

Everyone congratulated each other and had sweets

When Shamir and Zainab came home, Rabiya was waiting for them. She was overjoyed to hear that the marriage was fixed. Rayan had gone on a trip with his friends and was to return in two days. So it was decided to give him this good news after his return.

Two days later when Ryan returned home in the morning, Rabiya gave him the good news which was no less than bad news for him because his marriage was fixed with a girl who was intolerable to him, so how could he tolerate her for the rest of his life?

"Mom what is all this?.. what is Rida saying about this.. relationship?"

"Yes she is right we have fixed your relationship with Alina.., take it and eat sweets", Zainab extended her hand to feed him sweets

"You people have taken such a big decision, you should have asked me once", Ryan said while removing her hand.

"Yes but what is the harm.... now you know, you should be happy, now have something sweet and then get fresh, I will prepare breakfast"

"Wait a minute mom, I will not marry this girl, did you people not find any other girl? You had to marry me with her only"

"We had always liked Alina for you and what a nice girl she is, beautiful and intelligent too, you will not find a girl like her anywhere else, you both will look best as a couple, you will see", there was a pride in Zainab's tone, she was completely confident of her decision

"What did you say?..The best couple?..Me and..Alina how did you even think this Mom, there is no match between Alina and me. You saw her way of living, I never wanted such a girl for myself Mom"

"She looks very cute the way she is, son"

"Okay and what will you say about her childish behavior"

"You like everything about her but you should listen to me, I will not marry her at all."

"Look Ryan, Alina is perfect for you. You both know each other since childhood and after marriage, you will have an understanding, so don't be adamant."

"You can't force your decision on me."

"Today evening is your and Alina's engagement and all our close relatives have been invited so give up this stubbornness and prepare for the evening"

"You cannot misbehave with me." Just then Zainab's phone rang and she went to receive the call. Ryan was feeling helpless and then he called Shamir with the hope that maybe his dad would take his side and end the trouble that had befallen him, but he was disappointed there too. Now he was getting angry at his fate which had put him in such a problem for which he could not see any solution.

As soon as he remembered his past, he went to sleep and when he woke up in the morning, he felt light but he was still unable to make any decision. When he came down after freshening up, Shamir and Zainab were sitting in the dining area and having breakfast. They were unaware of Ryan's arrival there.

" Was it necessary to talk about divorce?", Zainab said angrily

" Yes and you also don't know the real reason behind this." Shamir had not told her anything before

" Tell me what the real thing is."
