There was an atmosphere of happiness in both the houses but Jamila Begum was unhappy in Khan Villa and why wouldn't she be, all the dreams she had cherished of making Alina her daughter-in-law vanished in a jiffy, she did not give up and was still trying to convince her brother.
"It is for Alina's good if they both are divorced then she will be tainted for the rest of her life, whether it is her fault or not but people will consider her wrong" Waqas said very seriously. She was also understanding.
"It is better that we send her off with Ryan." Jamila did not say anything
And should she say anything? It is absolutely true that whatever the matter may be, girls are made guilty every time even when it is not their fault. Even today people have become educated but could not change their thinking. The same old thinking that it is the girl who must be lacking. Along with her character, her self-confidence is also trampled upon.
Javed who had been watching his mother upset for a long time came to her.
"Ammi come with me" He took her with him to Jamila's room and made her sit on the sofa and sat next to her.
"Ammi, don't be so worried, what is written in one's fate happens" then he poured water from the jug kept on the same table into the glass and extended it towards her, Jamila took the glass.
"Whatever Uncle was saying is true. Alina's marriage may have happened in the presence of close relatives but in these two years this news had spread everywhere, in such a situation divorce will solve the problems... We should also be happy in everyone's happiness, even if this new relationship is not formed but the relationship we have always had should remain intact... It is your niece's wedding, Amma, you should be very happy and all the duties of aunt should be performed" he smiled till the end while talking.
Jamila's eyes were filled with tears. Javed wiped her tears. "Lekin aapne apna maksad nahi bhulna hai." Jamila looked at him with questioning eyes.
"Aapki bahu dhoondhne ka.... kya pata is function mein hi aapko achhi se bahu mil jaaye" His tone was mischievous. Jamila smiled.
"Ammi, I don't want any kind of distance to come between you and Mamu"
"No son, it was my mistake that I was imposing my wishes on everyone without caring about their feelings, but now this will not happen at all, don't worry"Javed smiled
"Come on, I have a lot of work to do after all it is my niece's wedding" She was back in her usual style. Jameela was such that she would say whatever was in her heart but she was very pure at heart.
"Hello meri Jaan, kaisi ho? Oops Bhabhijaan" As soon as Rabiya came, she met her happily. Aleena looked angrily at her. Both of them were about to leave for college.
"Oof, why are you getting angry Bhabhijaan, come on give me the keys of the car, I will drive today" She teased her again, then took the keys from her hand and sat on the driving seat. Aleena also came and sat in the car.
" Kya hua? Kuch toh boliye bhabhijan"
"Tum ye alfaz istemal karna band karogi ", She said in an annoyed tone with her face puffed up, Rabiya smiled openly.
"Achha, ab main bhabhi ko bhabhi na kahu toh kya kahu? Tum hi batao mujhe", Alina again looked at her angrily.
" Well really Alina, I am very happy for you. Finally you will come to our house and live with us" she was saying while driving the car and looking at him from time to time.
Alina looked at her carefully, Rabiya's happiness was evident on her face, Alina did not say anything to her, how could she upset her best friend.
Only ten days were left for the wedding, so preparations were going on in full swing. This time many guests were to come, the invitation cards were ready. After the date was fixed, this was the first thing that was arranged.
The valima was kept on the second day of the wedding. A banquet hall was also found urgently, which belonged to an old friend of Waqas. Now all the work was to be done with the help of the wedding planner.
