Forgive and Forget?

Evie's Pov

The bell rang and so I went to class. Jay and Mal were already there, making out. I rolled my eyes and smiled. They look so annoyingly cute together. I took my seat next to them. They pulled away and then the teacher came in. I took out my books and pens and got ready for class. But ofc I don't already have enough problems, Uma just had to came in. Harry and Gil were by her side they took their seats. The teacher was surprised they weren't late. He looked around until his eyes settled on us. 

"Evie, Mal, Jay, where is Carlos?"

The class looked at us and I sighed. I looked at Jay and he shrugged. He didn't know. Mal thought for a moment until she answered the teacher.

"He's busy doing something."

She said clearly bored

"Doing what?"

"Don't know, didn't ask."

The teacher sighed and shook his head.

"Can one of you guys look for-"

"I'll look for him!"

I looked at the girl who said it. She clearly liked Carlos just like all the girls in this school apparently. Other girls began to join in fighting for who should look for him. I shook my head. Harry was laughing, Gil wasn't very interested and Uma was smirking, clearly interested on why Carlos wasn't with me. She probably believes that something bad's going on between us and she clearly enjoyed that. The teacher finally put an end to the debate and just decided to teach the class without him. 

Half of the day was done and still no sight of Carlos. I was actually getting worried, what if something happened to him. I didn't bother looking for him tho. I went to my locker and put the books of the subjects I had done already. I locked it and jumped. Carlos was right behind my locker. I was annoyed because he actually scared me. I looked at him with burning eyes but soon they soften. He had a bouquet of flowers, the rarest flowers in Auradon. That's probably where he was this whole time. I sighed and took the flowers. At the corner of my eye, I could see Uma watching us with Harry. I rolled my eyes and looked back at Carlos.

"I'm sorry."

"So you know why I'm mad at you."

He rubbed the back of his neck

"Well no, that's what I wanna-"

Angrily, I threw the flowers back at Carlos, cutting him off. He quickly tried to catch them. He looked at me and sighed.

"Come on Eves, don't be like that."

I walked away from him but he grabbed my arm. This time I wasn't having it. I slapped him causing his face to turn the other way. I saw people looking at us so I quickly walked off. 

Carlos' Pov

Evie threw my flowers back at me and slapped my in the face. I slowly turned back around and saw her walk out. I groaned and touched my jaw. She sure knows how slap a guy in the face. I fixed my jaw and saw Uma. She smiled at me and I sighed. She saw the whole thing. I walked off before she could approach me with anything. 

I went into my dorm. Jay was in there but I didn't even notice it at first. I groaned and jumped on my bed. Jay looked at me. I was pissed and he saw that. He turned to me.

"What's wrong."

"Evie. She slapped me in the face."

Jay stiffed a laugh so I quickly turned to him. He shut his mouth and began to whistle. I looked away from him. Jay exhaled and patted my back.
