Surprise!

Carlos' Pov

I ran around, looking for Evie. I can't find her tho. It's like she disappeared off the grid. I sighed and looked on my phone. Evie doesn't know this but I always have her location on my phone. Oops, ha hope she doesn't find out. She was around here, but... she was in the forest? Why? I shook away my thoughts and sped to the forest. The GPS was right. She was here. She was sitting on the floor and looked as if she was mediating. I walked up to her and slowly went down to look at her face. So beautiful, so loving, so.. incredible. I stayed there in awe not wanting to look away. That was until she opened her eyes. Her eyes widen and she was about to scream but I quickly covered her mouth. She took a deep breath and took my hand off her. She got up and walked past me. 

"Hey."

She didn't look at me

"Can we talk please." 

I walked up to her until I lightly touched her torso. She gasped softly. I could see it in her eyes. The urge to turn around and face me but she hid it well. She closed her eyes. 

"Baby girl, please."

I touched her thigh gently and I looked at her face. She was blushing and clearly aroused. She still tried to hide it but couldn't. She slowly turned to me. I sighed and tucked a stray hair behind her ear. She crossed her arms, waiting for me to say something.

"I'm so sorry. I've been stupid and the worst boyfriend ever."

She looked away but I brought her face back to look at mine. I gently caressed her face and looked into her eyes with sincerity.

"I've been so unaware. I didn't how things were going with us. I've changed and I didn't even notice that. I'm so sorry, Evie."

"I've been so worried about protecting you, I forgot about everything else. I forgot about us." 

I looked at her face and examined it. She was touched but wasn't really convinced. She sighed and looked at the ground. It wasn't enough and it shouldn't be. What can I do for her to know that I mean every word I said. An idea came to my head. Evie loves designing but she loves someone way more. I smiled and grabbed her hand.

"I'll right back okay. I promise."

She looked at me confused so I gave her a reassuring smile. I kissed her cheek and quickly left. I gotta go talk to Ben about letting in a certain Vk. 

Evie's Pov

I sighed and sat back down. Left again. Apparently to do something extremely important, something more important than me. I took out my phone and texted Mal.

Me:Hey M😢

Bestie💖:Hey what's wrong

Me:Carlos, he left me again.

Bestie💖:What!! That's it! I'm gonna kill him😡

Me:Honestly, I think you should. I can't believe him. He came to apologize and then ran off not too long ago.

Bestie💖:Where is he? I'm actually going to kill him!

Me:I don't know. He didn't even tell me.

Bestie💖:Okay I'll see you later Eves. I'm gonna go find that boy and beat the stupid out of him! 

Me:Love you😀

Bestie💖:Love you more Eves😘

Mal's Pov

I walked everywhere, looking for Carlos. Damn boy why are you so hard to find! I groaned and walked into the school grounds. I was near Ben's office and that's when I saw Carlos. He walked out smiling. He was up to something. I walked up to him and hit the back of his head. He touched his head in pain and looked at me confused.
