Crash

~Katsuki's POV~

It's now Saturday and I've more or less given up on ever being able to see talk, or communicate at all with Deku. Once I finished applying my mascara I took one last look at my makeup and, with a nod of approval I got up and began to get dressed.

I was going on a date. Since Deku was obviously done with me, I might as well move on myself, right? I opened my wardrobe to look for what to wear. I reached for my red leather jacket, A black T-shirt, and a pair of black pants, lastly, I grabbed a pair of black lace-up platform heel boots. Unfortunately for me, I'm only 5'7.5", I need the height.

After getting dressed, I checked the time on my phone and then grabbed my wallet before heading downstairs. Taking a deep breath I left the house, locking the door behind me and hopping into my car.

Upon arriving at the location I found myself getting a little excited. I hopped out of my car and checked the last message he sent me, which was describing what he was wearing, I walked over to him. "Hey," I said holding out my hand

"Oh hey, wow you look a whole lot prettier in person," he said making me smirk as he took my hand, kissing me on the back of it instead of shaking it like a normal person.

"I know," I said rolling my eyes playfully "You're not too bad yourself" he was a tall guy with dark eyes, pretty much black, with yellow blond hair and a teddy bear vibe.

"So uhm, I'd like to reintroduce myself before we start this date, I'm Ell Takano and I'm a veterinarian," he said smiling at me

"Nice to meet you, in person, I'm Katsuki Bakugou and I'm a Chef" With that out of the way we went inside.

"Why don't you go first," Takano said handing me an axe.

"While we're at it" I said taking the axe, tossing it up, and testing its weight in my hand "What do you do for fun?" I threw the axe, it hit the target board with a thud that was muffled by the surrounding noise

"Wow, you almost hit the bullseye, uhm I do a lot of things for fun, sometimes I knit, maybe read, watch movies, play games, maybe even hiking," he said answering my question as I walked up to the target, pulling my axe out of the wooden target board

I cringe stepping out of his way as he prepares to throw his axe "You hike for fun?" I asked

He chuckled "What about you, what do you do for fun?" He asked

"Eh, I'll watch a movie or two, maybe try a new recipe, play a videogame or two" I shrug "I used to read but I haven't done that in a while. He nods and throws his axe, it almost didn't even reach the target board

"Well, I think I should take that as a sign to hit the gym a bit more" he sighs putting his hands on his hips and making me snort. He smiles at me before walking over to his axe and picking it up.

"Yeah, maybe you should," I said getting ready to throw my axe again. "You got any pets?"

"Yeah, I do" he answers as I reared back and threw my axe, hitting the bullseye "Damn! Uhm, I uh, I have a Corgi, a Siamese cat, two hamsters, and a snake"

"Jeeze, you plan to turn your house into a zoo?" I asked making him laugh as I went down to collect my axe

"No, not really, I just saw them and- I found my cat in a dumpster actually and I just couldn't leave him there, so I took him home. He's the most affectionate cat I've ever met" he said getting ready to throw again

"That's new, aren't cats usually really aloof?" I asked surprised

"Yeah, but he's not, if I don't cuddle him when I get home from work and before I leave, he literally throws a fit," he said chuckling making me smile.

"What about the rest of your pets, like- that snake?" I asked crossing my arms

"Oh she's really small, I call her Shoelace as a joke" he snorts before throwing his axe. "She's an adorable little albino corn snake, you should meet her sometime, she's nice, doesn't bite," he says going to get his axe that hit one of the outer rings of the target.

"And isn't the parrot annoying?" I asked raising an eyebrow as I got ready to throw again

"Admittedly, yes, yes he is but, I'm already in deep, he's already pretty dependent on me I'm not going to just- ion know throw him out or something" he shrugs making me snort again.

"So uh, I really enjoyed today," Takano said as he walked me out of the bar we were in. After we finished up with the axe throwing, we sat down to eat and drink and now it was time to leave.

"Me too," I said nodding, giving him a small smile.

"Is it possible that I impressed you enough for a second date?" He asked smiling

"We'll see" I chuckled watching him grin. He then took my hand and kissed the back of it like he did when we met earlier today

"Until then" With that, he began to walk off most likely towards his car. Suddenly there was a loud honk and it all happened so fast I bearly even registered it.

First, there he was walking to his car, then there was light, bright light, then a loud crash, then....blood. I stumbled back, the wind knocked out of me as I looked at the image before me.

A truck slammed into the side of the building we just left and a dead Takano was sandwiched between the bar wall and the truck.
