AN: Welcome to another chapter of Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This). I know in my Quick Question post, I mentioned doing a book of one-shots, which is still in the works, I am gathering ideas and stories to put in it involving our favorite couple at various points in the series that I have referenced to.
I wanted to give you a sneak peak and a tester of sorts and have a chapter about Eddie and Frankie meeting the Shepherd family & a glimpse of how Eddie and Mark met all those moths ago!
I hope this meets your guys amazing expectations and let me know if you would like to see more of this type of stories in the future and what you might want to see in one-shot form. I might also put one shots or occasional interludes in my main story occasionally as well.
They won't be as long as my other chapters, but just a brief look inside their life.
So I hope you enjoy. The next chapter will officially kick off season 4!

Oh quick side note: I know that in the cannon tv show, which is amazing and one of my favorite tv shows, Amelia has a very strained relationship with the Shepherd family when I dreamed up this story and made the outline, it was before the season 15 episode and in my little Sweet Dreams universe Amelia and her family have a close relationship! If you like that it is okay, but I always pictured the Shepherds to be close.
Also, they never mentioned who Luke Adams' mother is yet on the show I have decided to make him Nancy's son. If that is not correct in the show verse...then so be it! It is fanfiction after all!
And expect more Shepherd sightings in the future!

While Eddie may have been born in Chicago and lived the first four years of her life in the Windy City, with fond memories of going to Cubs games with her Grams and Portillo's at least once a month, New York City is what Eddie Sousa considered her home town. She spent more years living in the Upper East Side of New York than she did in the Gold Coast of Chicago.
And, while Seattle was starting to feel more like home. It was good to get back to the hustle and bustle of city life in New York City that she had loved so much growing up. It truly was one of the greatest cities in the world.
They had arrived in New York yesterday at six o'clock at night. After a six hour flight the small family didn't feel up to doing any exploring. Frankie's routine was thrown off and while she was fine on the plane, she wasn't the biggest fan of flying, and a long day of traveling they got to their hotel and decided to order room service and relax for a while, and tackle exploring the city as a family on one of their free days.
