AN: Welcome to another chapter of Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This). This is one of my favorite episodes.
I know that Amelia is not as close to her family in Grey's. But, in mine, they are going to be close. If you don't like it that is okay.

Tomake it - really make it - as a surgeon, it takes major commitment. We have to be willing to pick up that scalpel and make a cut that may or may not do more damage than good. It's all about being committed, because if we're not, we have no business picking up that scalpel in the first place.

The small family of three were relaxing for the night after a long day. Eddie and Mark were curled up on the couch, Frankie, was having her bedtime feeding as the couple relaxed from a long day. Eddie was catching up on a TV show while Mark read a medical journal.
"So, Derek's sister is going to be in town?" Eddie asked.
"Yeah, Nancy." Mark said with a nod.
Nancy, was the eldest of the Shepherd siblings, she was an OBGYN out of Connecticut and according to both Mark and Derek, the most like her mother. Nancy was followed by Derek, who was the only boy. After Derek there was Liz who is a gastroenterologist, Kathleen is the second youngest and is a psychologist. And then the youngest was Amelia, who was a neurosurgeon like Derek.
