* Note to reader: this chapter has some pretty intense swearing so, ya... Don't judge me! :P
Charli's POV
I don't know why i decided to do it. it was sheer stupidity. It just made me feel worse. In a stunned state, I decided to call...noneother than Marcus. I picked up my phone and dialed 5. Why the hell did I still have his fucking number on speedial? "Hey?" He answered.
My heart pounded in my chest, as I told him what I really thought about him and his whole shitty family. "You are such a motherf**ker! Your moms a bitch, your dad is an asshole, your cousins are whores and your grandparents only had your dad because they couldn't stop screwing eachother! So get out of my life you d*ckhead!" I screamed into the receiver.
I heard a soft laugh. "Come now Charli, you of all people must know that my d*ck isn't anywhere near my head." the cruel laughing again.
My heartbeat accelerated, if that was even possible. I dropped the phone, hitting the OFF button as I did. The mocking laughter stopped. I let out a scream so loud I was surprised mom didn't come rushing home from work to ask what the problem was.
This wasn't fair! How come he gets to be happy? He's the bad guy! God i fell like fricking 4 year old. "Mommy it isn't fair! Steven has had the truck for 12 minutes! i only got it for 11! It's not fair!"
PUH-LEASE.
I heard a knock on the front door. I jumped about a foot in the air. Quickly checking that my makeup covered the most of my bruises, I cautiosly amde my way down the steps. I opened the door. "Jack? What the hella re you doing here?" I yelled without meaning to.
He flinched. "Can I come in?" He asked politely.
"You know, i really don't think that that is such a good..."
"Great thanks, " he pushed past me.
"What? where the hell you think you are going? You can't just fucking go into someones house without permission you asshole!"
"Woah..." Jack stopped, "What has gotten into you?"
"Me? what has gotten into you? Since when do you come by to my house?"
"Since...now."
Jack was looking in all the cabinets. "What do you think I've bugged the place or something?" I asked saracstically.
"What? Oh!" Jack jumped away from the kitchen shelves, as if he hadn't been noticing what he was doing.
"Look, Charli, all I want to know is what happened."
"Since when do you care, we are worst enemies remember?" I asked
"Can you just answer me Charli?"
"Fuck no! I already told you last night. I got drunk and fell down some stairs." I reminded him.
God, i just wanted him to leave! Whny did he have to come and stick his nose in my buisness? I mean he hates me! If he found out what Marcus had done to me, he'd probably go buuy him flowers. No way in hell I was telling Jack anything. "Can you please just leave?" I whispered.
Jack sighed. "Ya, if you really want me to, but answer me this first. If you jusr fell down some stairs, why weren't you at school today?
"What the hell? why do you care? I had a hangover okay?" I tried not to scream.
"You don't seem so sick now..." Jack muttered.
"Okay that's it! I don't need to justify myself to you! If I don't feel like going to school ,that's my buisness, not yours! So get the fuck out of my house. Please."
"Fine, but I want an answer tomorrow!" Jack yelled.
"Oh, go screw yourself!" I clsed the door on his face.
What the hell was the matter with him? Why did he care what happened to me? Gos, i wanted answers, but then again, so did Jack.
