Chapter 21

Hey guysies, I am SOOOO SOOO SOOO SOOOO SORRY I HAVEN'T WRITTEN IN  SOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOOONG! Oh, and sorry this chapter is so short. I had writers block, but it's sorta gone now. I know how I want this story to go! YAY!  I am gonna try to upload all of my stories once a week :D

Jack's POV

"Dude, isn't it a little creepy that we're stalking her?" Matt asked.

"what? No! I'm just making sure she's okay! Jeez!" I scoffed, glancing out my car window.

Okay, honestly! I wasn't stalking Charli! Well...maybe a little bit. "Seriously man, you're obsessed with her."

"I am not! I just...hey! Who's that pulling into her driveway? Huh? Who are they? Are they going to see her?"

Matt groaned, rolling his eyes and jamming his hat on his head. "Why don't you just knock on her door genius? Your acting like a freaking girl!'

I ignored him. Sorta. What he said kinda injured my pride or whatever. I unbuckled my seat-belt and pushed the car door open. Just as I was getting out, the person in the other car emerged. She was carrying a large suitcase and a stack of papers and books. she was talking angrily into a cell phone propped between her ear and shoulder. "Yeah, well you go to hell you conniving perverted bastard! Don't think for a minute your gonna get away with it!"

Then she turned, fazcing me. She had dark auburn hair and shining blue eyes. Shea ctually looked quite a lot like Charli, only older. Slamming ehr car door she strode over to me. "and who exactly are you?"

"Uhhhh....I'm here to see Charli." I reply.

"Hmmm, that's a funny name. Is it spelt the way it's pronounced?" The girl asked sarcastically.

"Ummmm....yeah. i'm here to see Charli." i repeated stupidly.

"Sorry, but she's a bit..."

"Pregnant." i finished for her bluntly.

The girl raised her eyebrows. "I was gonna say 'under the weather', but pregnant is good too if you wanna be direct."

I half-smiled. "I'm Jack. Jack Greens."

She shook my hand. "Jaedan. Charli's older sister. and who's that?"

Jaedan gestured towards Matt who was staring open-mouthed at her.

"Dude." I said.

"Huh?"

"DUDE!"

"What? Oh! Yeah! I'm the man." Matt winked.

I rolled my eyes. "This idiot is Matt."

Jaedan laughed, a barely-noticeable blush creeping up her cheeks. I couldn't help but grin.

Jaedan's POV

"This Idiot is Matt." jack said.

But I wasn't paying any attention to him. All I was thinking about was how hot this Matt guy was. But then I remembered the call I had gotten earlier and my smile vanished. "would you guys like to come in?' I asked.

Jack nodded. "Thanks, I'd love to but we can't,  we have to go, it's his little brothers birthday."

"Aww Crap! I didn't get him anything!" Matt exclaimed. "Well, it was nice meeting you Jaedan. Maybe we could get coffee sometime?"

He looked so hopeful I just had to laugh. "I'd like that."

Matt grinned before pulling out of the driveway.

I walked up  to the front door and opened it. "MOM! I'm here!"

I heard running footsteps. "Jaedan! My baby!" Mom screamed before enveloping me in a hug.

"Charli! Charli, Jaedan's here!"

A door down the hallway opened and Charli stepped out. She was still in her pyjamas. "Jade!" she shrieked, running up and giving me a hug.

Then my cell rang. Letting go of Charli, I reached for it. The caller I.d. read: Prof. Karow. I hit ignore.

Shit. If he kept calling, I don't know how I was gonna pull this off.
