Draped In A Mere Fantasy

Chapter One

I woke up from a weird dream that left me thinking for 5 minutes straight. I had a dream that I was in a..world? Yeah, it was totally a world, a strange colourful world. And I was standing on a floating car.. Weird right? And then I dont remember what happened, this was like the 10th time I'm having this dream and this was the 10th different version of it. I shook my head and walked into the bathroom to take a shower.

"Good morning" I muttered to mom and dad, "Morning dear how was your sleep?" Mom said handing me a plate of good ol' bacon and eggs, I sat beside dad who was reading something from his phone, As I ate my breakfast. My sister got downstairs, backpack wth a flashy look and all she sat beside me. "Hey, why on earth did you take my jacket?" I told her. "Is that a you way to tell me "good morning"?" She teased. I narrowed my eyes at her. Seriously, dad gave me that cool red leather jacket but of course as Julia stated it "sharing is caring" she took it! I finished eating my breakfast and got up and grabbed my backpack heading to college. Mom kissed me goodbye and I couldn't help but look at mom because I looked a lot like her, blonde hair mine straight reaching my back hers wavy going a bit past her shoulders, green eyes. Julia had dad's looks, brown hair a bit past her shoulders and dark brown eyes, Dad had dark brown hair too and dark brown eyes. "Hey wait up!" Julia called hurrying with the car keys, she stepped in and I sat checking at the mirror for any slight mistake but I didn't find any.

"Listen..i know you're angry 'cause I took your jacket but.." She hesitated looking down. And i knew what she was going to do, I was used to it I just looked at the window. "..it was worth it! Seriously, I needed to look dashing for today Maddie" she beamed. I rolled my eyes and took my phone out of my jeans pocket and immediately receiving a text from my friend Daisy

Daisy:Hey girl      . I smiled and replied back

Me: Hi, sup

Daisy: ready for the party tonight?

Me: Yeah

Daisy: See you

Me: Okay bye

"I heard there's a party at Jennifer's" she said driving her black Honda,

"Yeah" I mutter.

"Are you going?"

"Of course"

"Okay... Here we are.. MackTen U" she announced parking her car. We both got out and started walking to the campus, Daisy hurried up to me, her jet black hair bouncing and her blue eyes twinkling in the daylight. "Hey girl!" she chirped. "Hi!" "Hi Julia!" "Hello" we continued walking, Julia parted ways meeting up with her friends heading to her class : Fashion & Designing , Daisy and I headed to Arts class. As usual we sat at the back watching as students took their seats, the last person was the professor, A short buff guy that girls in class had a crush on. As he rambled on and on, I started feeling drowsy then before I could do anything to jolt myself awake I fell asleep.

I opened my eyes to find myself in a very open space surrounded by...nothing but white and I was the one who carried colour in my clothes, then from afar I saw orange mist swirling slowly. I subconsciously started heading to the mist as I approached closer I noticed it spreading and then I heard "..protect...protect her..." "What..? Protect who?" "She doesn't belong there..protect her.." "who?! Who should I...." I couldn't continue speaking, its as if someone held my lips, then my vision started to blur.. Then I passed out, waking up to professor Wayne's words "...I think that's the end of todays lesson" he finalized, leaving. I looked at Daisy she gave me a droll stare "I tried to wake you up Maddie but you didn't, you even said something.." "What...? What was it?" "Uh..a strange word. You said..uh..what was it? Yeah you said Glahxia yeah glak-si-a" "What? What does that mean?" "How the hell do I know? Anyhoo get up" she told me then walked away, I followed suit.
