Draped In A Mere Fantasy

Chapter Seven

I opened my eyes to find myself sliding in a tube, My heart pounded like crazy and I was sliding faster, Where was I? I tried turning back but only resulted into thrashing my arms in the air, then I remembered that we were teleported by Vayra's mom. I raised my head to look down but I only turned myself around and started spinning, I heard screams. Good thing the tube was large.

I shut my eyes as I felt weird. It's like my heart was pounding right outside my ears, the spinning, I closed my eyes tightly and screamed. I heard a thud, then another, and another then still closing my eyes, I saw some light then, I was thrown and landed with a thud. I groaned in pain and slowly opened my eyes to find the girls getting up slowly. I followed and started looking at our surroundings.

We were outside a building, an abandoned one. "Where are we?" I managed. Vayra looked at me "Cyber-Xone..an abandoned gaming company" Oh. "Gaming company? How?" Lily asked. I was about to say something when I felt something rushing through my throat, I held my mouth and rushed to the side and threw up.

My head throbbed, my throat felt weird and..the energy inside me was still churning. I closed my eyes and found a place to sit. "Where are we even going to start? And why did we teleport here?" Vanessa asked.

"This was my hiding place when they uh..started looking for me" she looked away.

"Who?"

"Just some hunters"

"Hunters? Why hunt you?" I frowned in confusion. I felt weird again..the energy kept turning itself. I take a deep breath to calm my body.

Vayra closed her eyes and sighed "I don't know..maybe there's something they want"

I felt the energy turn again, I felt it again travelling to my hands, creating a strange feeling in them, I shook my hands to rid of the feeling and energy shot from my hands and hit a dumpster. I gasped and looked at my hands, I felt another wave coming and my hands automatically jolted forward and energy shot from them again.

"Your powers are messed up, when you jumped into this universe" Vayra explained.

We were at the back of the building, we entered inside it through it and it sure was dark, I raised my hand to conjure some light but fire shot from my hand and hit something, obliterating it.

"I got this" Vanessa said and snapped her fingers and a ball of light appeared infront of her and we continued exploring the building, as we kept walking, the others infront of me. I noticed something glowing at a distance, I followed it and as I got closer, I saw that it was..star shaped and t was emitting a soft orange glow. I touched it and it flashed.......

*..."About to succeed it. We will find it, just a little adjustment and there will be nothing to worry about." A man in an orange lab coat said. I was in a room..wait..its where I touched the star! But it looks different, it was..almost new, everything was in place and lots of activities were going on.

A hand touched my shoulder, I turned around "Tracy what are you waiting for, we need to finish this" A guy wearing glasses said, wearing the same orange lab coat, black hair nearly put in place. Wait..Tracy? I'm not Tracy. "Here..take this to the 3rd generator" the guy said.

Turns out his name's Cody. Read from the tag. I took it, it was a cube like shape. "Okay" I said and started heading to where the others were busy working and saw the 3rd generator. I started looking where the cube might fit and found the place, I inserted it and stepped back.

I saw my reflection in a shiny place of a wall and my eyes widened, it wasn't mine..it was of Tracy. She had short straight brown hair and blue eyes, I ran my hand on my face gently and heard "Tracy we are about to turn it on" I looked to the side and saw another man calling me. I went and stood beside him "We are ready" he said.
