Rain (Part 1)

It was a rainy afternoon in Pop Village. Everyone was at their pods. There could be heard light thunder outside. The sun was shining through the clouds but very soon it was covered by the gray clouds. Very soon lightnings were seen too. This wasn't just rain anymore. It was a thunderstorm. The wind was blowing so strong that it could lift a Troll in the air. Every Troll was hiding from the thunderstorm. They were very sacred but one pink Troll was terrified of the storm outside.
She was sitting in her pod sobbing and sitting on her bed, hugging her knees. All she needed was her family but they were all in Branch's bunker and she couldn't visit them because the bunker was quite far from the village. She was terrified of storms since she was little.

"It w-will pass. Don't wor-ry. I-It will p-pass. D-Don't worry." She was repeating the same words trying to calm herself but nothing could calm her down. A loud thunder was heard outside. This made her cry even harder. Her eyes were red from all that crying. She was shaking a lot.

A knock was heard on the door. Who could have come to see her in that weather? Poppy wiped away her tears and tried to calm herself down. When she was a bit calmer than before she opened the door and to her surprise it was her family. She was greeted with a loving hug by her boyfriend. She hugged back happily with tears starting to form in her eyes.

"Poppy, are you ok? I remembered that you're scared of storms and you are all alone so we came to see you." Branch said while letting of the hug. He noticed that Poppy was about to cry because of the loud thunder.

"Hey, sis, are you alright? You seem like you've been crying for hou-!" As soon as Viva said that, loud thunder was heard. It was so loud that it shook the ground a little. "OK, LET'S GO INSIDE! NOW!" Viva started pushing everyone inside Poppy's pod.

When they were inside the pod everyone was relieved that they were safe. But not Poppy. As soon as she got inside she started crying so much that she needed to sit on something so she wouldn't fall. When Branch saw that, it broke his heart to see his girlfriend cry. He never wanted to see her cry. To make her feel better he sat next to her and made her sit on his lap. When Poppy realized that she was sitting in Branch, she quickly hugged him and started crying on his chest. When the others saw that they went over them and hugged them too. That made Poppy feel a bit better. When they let go of the hug they had an idea how you cheer her up.

"Hey Poppyseed. You wanna know something?" JD asked Poppy hoping what he'll say will make her feel better.

"W-What?" Poppy was still crying but she started getting calmer than before.

"When I was young, I was scared of storms too! And the thing that helped me was playing games with these 4 idiots here!" JD said was laughing while his brothers were death staring him. "What? I didn't lie!" Everyone could hear Poppy chuckling a bit.

"But we can still hear you, John!" Clay was a bit mad for calling him and the other brothers idiots but he wasn't lying either.
