I Can't Fall Asleep/ Happy birthday (Part 1)

It was a dark and calm night. Every Troll was asleep. Usually Trolls party to late hours but this night there wasn't any parties (strange 😃). Everyone was sleeping peacefully. Only one Troll wasn't sleeping. It was Poppy. She was twisting and turning in her bed every second. Poppy just couldn't fall asleep, she was exited for her boyfriend's birthday party tomorrow. When she turned to her clock to see what time it is it said 22:57.

"Come on, Poppy! Fall asleep! If you don't fall asleep, then tomorrow you'll be tired all day!" Poppy was getting frustrated with herself. "Hmm, what could possibly make me fall asleep?" The pink Troll sat in her bed and started to think of methods to make her fall asleep. "Mhmm, oh I got it! A glass of warm milk should help, I guess?" Poppy hopped from her bed and went to the kitchen hoping that this method will work. She opened the fridge and searched for milk. "Milk, milk, milk... AHA! There it is!" She quickly grabbed the milk and poured it in a glass. Poppy put the milk in the microwave and waited for it to be done.

DING!

The microwave was done warming up the milk. Poppy quickly took it out and placed it on the counter. She waited a bit to wait for the milk to cool down. While she was waiting she was thinking of other methods to try if this one didn't work. After a while the milk was ready to be consumed. Poppy drank the milk and went to bed hoping that this will work.

"Alright! Let's hope this works!" Poppy looked at her clock which said 23:05 and got under her covers and tried to fall asleep. After a while Poppy started to get sleepy but she was awakened by a bird trying to get inside her pod. The bird managed to get inside her pod. Poppy got up and tried to get the bird outside.

"Sho! Get out, bird!" She managed to catch the bird with her hair. Poppy was able to untangle her hair from the bird and let it out the window. "Phew! At least I didn't need help to untangle it like with Debbie! ". After that, Poppy laid back down on her bed and tried to fall asleep again.

The clock was showing 23:12. Poppy couldn't fall asleep (again), so she tried the next method. It was reading. Poppy grabbed her favourite book. And started reading it. After 10 minutes of reading, Poppy wasn't getting anywhere near sleepy so she placed the book on her nightstand and started to try methods that could help her fall asleep.

First she tried running around her pod, didn't work. She tried going on a short walk, didn't work. She tried dancing, again, it didn't work. The clock was showing 23:42. Poppy really wanted to sleep. She sat on her bed and started to think.
After a while an idea popped up in her head. She wasn't sure if it's going to work or not, but at least she needs to try.

" Ok! Let's hope that this works!" Poppy got up, walked out of her pod and started walking to Branch's bunker. After 5 minutes of walking, she was in front of his bunker. "Branch! Branch! Branch!" She knocked on his rock at the same time she was trying not to scream loudly because his brothers were sleeping over, and she didn't want to wake them up. She heard someone coming up but, Poppy couldn't understand if it was Branch or not.

"Huh? Oh, Poppy! What are you doing here?" It was Floyd. He went and gave her a hug. After a few seconds they let go of the hug and Floyd smiled widely at the sight of his brother's girlfriend.

"Well first of all, I'm sorry that I woke you up, and second I couldn't fall asleep so I came here hoping that I'll fall asleep. ". Poppy was felling guilty for waking up Floyd.

" Don't worry! You didn't wake me up. I was awake because John snores LOUDLY!" The both Trolls laughed at the thought of JD snoring. "Anyway let's get you inside! " Floyd and Poppy went inside and got on the elevator which led them down in Branch's bunker. "Oh, just so you know, Clay's awake. He said he's doing taxes."
