A Couple? (Pt 1)

HIII! Here's a new oneshot! BUT FIRST! If you have read the part where I say some random things about me, then you have read that I can draw! And krisalyn598 suggested that I can try to draw Poppy and Branch! ✨💗

+ A little bonus, and by that I mean drawing Clay during class 😃 I added the freckles just cuz he's sooo cute with them!🥹🥹🥹

Now I know that Poppy and Branch aren't drawn together, but I'll make one that they are both in! AND BTW! THE SECOND DRAWING IS ME RE-DRAWING BRANCH! IT WAS ORIGINALLY DRAWN FROM OpefuLee! (I hope that re-drawing Branch isn't a problem, if you see this. :D) And the first one is Poppy from TTBGO! 💗💗💗 Now... ENJOY! And this chapter is going to be on what I think happened after the brothers got Clay!

"Okay, guys!" JD announced to his brothers and Poppy. He had just stopped at a gas station for a break from all the driving. "You have 30 mins before we hit the road again!😁"

"Okay, John!" Branch called from the back of the vehicle. He was fixing John's stove, since he broke it on their way to meet Bruce. As Branch got up, the survivalist saw his girlfriend sitting on the couch, hugging her knees and staring at the ground. "Hey, Pops. Are you ok?😊" Branch sat next to Poppy and started rubbing her back.

"Yeah, it's just that... I feel bad for Viva!🙁 She has gone through sooo much! I mean, I have too, but not as much as her..." Poppy started to tear up and light sniffles could be heard.

~Meanwhile with the two idiots Clay and Bruce~

"Yeah, and then I w-" Clay stopped in the middle of his sentence and gasped at what he saw through the front window. "Look at Bitty B...😱"

"Why would I look at-OMT!😱" When Bruce turned around, he saw that his youngest brother had placed Poppy on his lap. "What in the actual Troll?!? Why would he do this? They aren't dating!"

"I know! She may have a boyfriend!😑"

"Let's go get Bitty B, before he steals someone's girlfriend!😠" Bruce then started walking towards the couple and Clay following him from behind.

~With Broppy~

"Poppy, c'mere." Branch then placed Poppy on his lap. "Look. I know that you're worried for Viva. I am too if I have to be honest! But she just doesn't feel safe outside of Put Put Village." The teal Troll started rubbing Poppy's back, trying to calm her down a bit. "Think of Viva like she's my old self. And by that I don't mean grumpy, sad and all the bad adjectives!" Branch could hear Poppy chuckle a bit. "What I'm trying to say is that, she feels safe in her "bunker". And Viva's bunker is Put Put Village. She'll understand that it's safe out he-"

"Hey, Bitty B!😁" Bruce waved at Branch and smiled like an idiot. "Can you come talk with us for a moment?😃"

"If you're gonna tease me about being in a relationship and comforting my girlfriend, then no.😐"

"Wait...😀 You're dat-" (A/N: Why do I make Clay look and sound like a complete idiot?💀)

"Whatt?😄 Of course not!" Bruce was about on the edge of killing Clay. "We just want to ask you some questions, can't we?😊"

"Alright..." Branch placed Poppy on the couch again and kissed her cheek.(🥹🩷) "Love, I'm going to talk with my brothers real quick, but that doesn't mean our talk is over, okay?"

"Branch, I'm fine now, don't worry! Go talk with your brothers! They're waiting for you!☺"

"Okay! Let's go." As the brothers walked out of Rhonda, Branch noticed how his two older brothers were talking about something, but he couldn't understand what. "Guys, what did you want to ask me?🤨"

"We wanted to ask you, why didn't you tell us that you and Poppy are dating?😑" Bruce looked over at Clay, who was looking directly at Branch.

"Well, I mean isn't it obvious?😆 Or are just blind and deaf, Bruce?" Branch chuckled at his brothers's reactions.

"What do you mean blind and deaf?🤨" Clay crossed his arms and got interested in what Branch was about to say.

"After the song we performed at Vacation Island, didn't you see us flirting when it ended?😂 Well Poppy did it, but still."

"No?😃" Bruce then felt dumb for not seeing the couple back at Vacay Island.

"And at Put Put Village? Didn't you see me how I was looking at her, Clay?😆"

"No...😑"

"I guess you are both blind and deaf!🤷🏻‍♀️" Branch then stopped laughing and then started heading inside, until Bruce stopped him.

"Hey, um Branch? Can you tell us how you both met?😅"

"Sure! I can tell you on our way to Mount Rageous!😁"
