🩵Singing🩷

"Alright! I'm done for today!" Branch was decorating his brother's rooms. He made sure every brother has what they like and use a lot. "I'll go on a short walk to go outside a bit! I have been in the bunker all day!" Branch really needed to go out more. Since 3 of his siblings have moved in his bunker, he had to clean their bedrooms that have been transformed into storage rooms. Branch went down the elevator to his living room, where his room was. He then showered, put on clean clothes and dried his hair. Branch just needed a little break from his work.
"Ok! I'm ready! Gary, while I'm away, protect the house! You're in charge!" All Branch got from Gary was a fall on the pillow, Gary was on. "I'll take that as an okay? Bye!" Branch quickly got on the elevator and went up. When he got outside, Branch was greeted with 3 faces smiling at him. It was his brothers.

"Hi, Branch! What are you doing? You haven't been out today!" Floyd asked, while he had a smile on his face.

"Yeah, we were getting worried about you!" Clay, was a bit concerned about his youngest brother, hoping he was okay.

"Bitty B, you should take a break from whatever you're doing. It's not good for you! I bet you haven't eaten today either. Here." JD handed him a box with spaghetti in it. "We went to a restaurant and we got you food. Please eat it before you pass out." John tried to make joke, but this time he was actually very serious.

"Guys! I'm not baby anymore! Don't worry, I'm fine. And I have ate. I was just going on a walk and maybe to visit Poppy." Branch blushed a bit at the thought of his girlfriend.

"Actually, she asked about you when we were at the restaurant. You should go see her." Floyd said, as he fixed his bangs that were in his eyes.

"Okay! I'm gonna go see her now! Byeee! Oh, by the way there's pizza in the fridge, if you're hungry!" Branch talked to his brothers as he walked away from them.

"Byee!" His brothers waved at him and got inside the bunker.

~5 minutes later, at Poppy's pod~

Branch was in front of Poppy's pod. As always he knocked on her door, waiting to her her voice saying "Who is it?". He waited a few seconds and nothing. Branch knocked on the door again, and nothing.

"Poppy, are you in there?" Branch asked. After that his ear twitched as he could hear the shower in Poppy's pod."She is showering! That's why she didn't answer!" Branch then walked inside Poppy's pod. He then sat on her couch in the living room. As he listened, Branch could hear someone singing. It was Poppy! As Branch got up from her, couch he got in the kitchen because it was closer to the bathroom he could hear the song she was singing. He leaned on the counter, and closed his eyes. 'Why doesn't Poppy sing like this when she's with others? Her singing is so beautiful!' Branch thought to himself.

After Poppy stopped singing, she turned off the shower and wrapped herself in towel, her hair still in a ponytail. As she walked out of her bathroom, Poppy jumped when she saw her boyfriend in her kitchen.

"Branch, what are you doing here?" Poppy blushed, sa she remembered that she was in a towel.

"Well, I came to see you but you were in the shower, so I sat on the couch but your singing was so beautiful that I couldn't resist to listen to it." Branch opened his eyes and saw his girlfriend in the towel. When he saw her, his face went purple.

Poppy chuckled at her boyfriend's reaction. "Don't worry. Probably your brothers told you that I was looking for you. I was gonna ask you if you want to go to that restaurant? " Poppy asked, as she went to go get her clothes.

"Well sure! Why not?" Branch chuckled a bit, as he sat on the couch and waited for Poppy... 🩵🩷
