It was the next day, Charlie and Vaggie led Singe to a large building, a courtroom of sorts. There were many different Angels in their seats up on the wall, the highest of them being the two Seraphims, Sera and Emily. Sera had a very serious and solemn look on her face, while Emily was much more cheerful and optimistic.
The tension in the room skyrocketed as Adam and Lute entered the room. Vaggie visibly tensed up and Charlie audibly groaned, “Uuugghh… Not him again.”
Adam and Lute flew up to their seats on the opposite side of the room from the other three, smug grins on their faces. Singe knew that something was hidden from her, that Vaggie was hiding something. Something she didn’t want either Charlie or Singe to know.
A voice carried down from above. Sera introduced everyone in a very official style, like in a court, “Greetings to all. Today we are gathered here to discuss whether Sinners can be redeemed and rise up to Heaven by means of this Hazbin Hotel. Mrs. Morningstar?”
“Thank you for having us. The Webster's Dictionary defines ‘redemption’ as-”
Adam cuts Charlie off with an annoyed groan, “Objection: Lame and unoriginal.”
“I hate to side with him, but yeah… boring. Mom, you didn't only just bring dictionary references, right?”
“I- uhh…” Charlie stammers as she goes through a deck of cue cards which all had dictionary references.
“If you have actual evidence, then show it already!” Adam raised his voice, getting irritated that the idea of calling off Exterminations was even being brought up.
“We have a patron, right now, who has made incredible progress at the hotel. Angel Dust.”
“Oh yeah! The porn demon, he's totally worth being redeemed,” Adam's voice was practically dripping with sarcasm.
Lute simply scoffed and shook her head. She kept stealing glances at Singe and Vaggie, who were holding hands the entire trial so far.
“So what does it take to get into Heaven? So we can make sure the hotel focuses on those points,” Singe spoke up with a surprisingly logical argument for a fourteen year old.
Adam stuttered, not truly knowing what got a soul into Heaven or sent down to Hell. He summoned a pen and a sheet of paper and started writing a list of what he believed were the requirements to get into Heaven. When he finished writing, he flicked his wrist and the sheet of paper teleported into Singe's hands.
“Be selfless, don't steal, and stick it to the man? Are you kidding me-”
“It sure got me here… right, Sera?” Adam chuckled nervously. Of course he didn't know what got someone into Heaven… though it seemed that neither Sera or any of the other angels in the jury did either.
“If you have any evidence that Angel Dust is a soul worth being redeemed, please present it,” Sera quickly changed the topic, not wanting to expose the cracks in the foundation of Heaven.
“Charlie, what about the day we brought…”
“Good idea Vaggie!”
A large glowing ball of energy rose up to the middle of the room. It started glowing and the image on its surface started to change.

Charlie walked into the hotel carrying a young girl. Vaggie walked beside the two, a smile on her face as she saw the little girl sleeping in her girlfriend's arms. The little girl had many scars on her arms and neck, though such a young kid wouldn't have inflicted these to herself.
