Aaira was in her room, getting ready, when a knock on the door interrupted her thoughts.

She looked up, curious as to who it was. “Yes? Come in.” She said, a hint of anticipation in her voice.

The door opened, and Mishthi peaked his head in.

“You're getting ready?”
she asked, stepping into the room.

Aaria nodded, as she applied the vermilion in middle partician of her hair

“Yeah, What happened???”

Mishthi smiled, a hint of excitement in her eyes.

“Well Durga Pooja is Day after Tomorrow so on every Diwali A man from Delhi came
with dresses and they are like so good...
Every newlyweds or Married couple
chooses Dress for their Wives.”

Aaria’s eyes widened in surprise, her
interest piqued.
“But why can't women even Choose outfits for their Own atleast for Durga Pooja instead someone else Choosing it for them...”

she Asked standing up and turning
towards Mishthi.

Mishthi shrugged,

“It’s just that here how traditions work. The man from Delhi brings a wide variety of the most beautiful dresses, and the husband chooses one for his wife...plus they are not someone they are their Husbands and it's kind of romantic”

Aaria huffed, crossing her arms over her chest.

“hmm...”

As she remembered How Zayn Was also Doing the same when they were shopping for the wedding.

Mishthi chuckled, amused by Aaria’s stubbornness.

“Why can't you just accept it? It’s a sweet tradition, and I’m sureee Bhai will pick something beautiful for you.”

Aaria rolled her eyes,
“Whatever...now let’s go And not everyone made wait for too long.”

Mishthi chuckled again, shaking her head. “Yeah, yeah...”

She led the way out of the room
As they emerged from the room, the sound of laughter and chatter grew louder.

The rest of the family, including Rohan and Rocky, were gathered in the living room, talking and discussing something intently with other men’s.

Rocky's eyes flicked up as Aaria and Mishthi entered, and his gaze lingered on her for a moment before looking back.

Mishthi went and sat down beside Rohan, leaving Aaria to take a seat on the couch besides Rocky.

Rocky didn't say anything, but his presence beside her made Aaria acutely aware of his every move. The subtle scent of his cologne wafting through the air, the way he crossed his legs lazily.

She tried to focus on the conversation happening between the others, but found her attention gravitating back to him. as the man spoke

“Rocky bhai aren't you gonna select something for our Queen”

The term “Queen” hung in the air, and Rocky couldn't help but glance at Aaria, as it was awkward.

“umm yeah,” he said, his voice low

The man set dresses infront of him Each dress was more beautiful than the last, the colors and patterns vibrant and eye-catching.

As he turned to look at, Aaria looked at the red lehnga it was indeed so beautiful and elegant she badly want's but no she can't it's against their principles

Rocky scanned the array of dresses, his fingers hovering over the fabric. He knew Aaria would look stunning in any of them, but he wanted to pick something She likes.

His gaze flicked to Aaria, who was staring at the red lehnga, and a smile tugged at the corner of his lip. He knew she was trying to suppress her desire for it, sticking to her beliefs.

“Do you want that???”

Aaria jolted, surprised that he had noticed her staring at that particular one. She quickly regained her composure, trying to maintain her indifferent facade.

“Well...it’s...it’s fine”

She said, averting her eyes from the beautiful red piece

Rocky chuckled at her response, leaning back in his seat. He knew she was trying hard to appear nonchalant, but her gaze had lingered on the dress longer than necessary.

“Just ‘fine’?”

He teased, his eyes sparkling with amusement

“yes, just fine Afterall you are gonna choose the dress you want.”

She said firmly, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of knowing she wanted it badly.

Rocky raised an eyebrow at her firm tone. He leaned closer to her, his voice low so only she could hear.

“It’s okay...you are the one who's gonna wear it so You are gonna select it and if You want that dress...we are getting it.”

Aaria looked up at him, surprised by his unexpected words. She had expected him to insist on picking the dress himself.

“Are you serious??”

She asked, unable to hide the hint of excitement in her voice.

Rocky expression softened.
"Of course, I’m serious. I know better than anyone that when you want something... "

Aaria bit her lip, her heart fluttering at his words.

“Alright...”

She nodded, a small smile pulling at the corner of her lips.

Rocky smiled in response, his gaze lingering on her for a moment longer before he turned his attention back to the man who had brought the dresses.

He indicated the red lehnga.

“This one.”

The man nodded, taking a note, as Aaria looked at the dress again, her heart soaring. She glanced at Rocky, silently thanking him for allowing to choose.
