Aaria spent the half day cooking and Doing paper work as now she needs to Balance both her maternal life along with professional life.
After Cooking She walked Inside living
Room and Sat besides Mishthi.
“Tired???”
“hmm.”
Aaira was slumped on the couch, looking somewhat exhausted and tired.
Mishthi chuckled at the sight as she passed her water.
Aaria took a sip of water and gave her
a weak smile.
“Thanks.”
She closed her eyes for a moment, the silence in the room broken only by the
soft hum of the ceiling fan.
Mishthi looked at Aaria, studying her friend. She could sense that something was bothering her, so she decided to probe gently.
“You seem a bit off today. Is everything alright?”
Aaria opened her eyes, her smile faltering slightly.
“Yeah...I'm just tired, I guess.”
She replied, trying to sound nonchalant As Mishthi nodded.
As Aaira looked at Mishthi
“How are you and Rohan doing in your new Marriage Life???”
Mishthi’s face broke into a soft smile as she thought about her husband.
“Things are going well...We're adapting to married life, learning about each other...”
She replied quietly, a hint of happiness in her voice.
Aaria smiled slightly, feeling a pang of envy at the contentment in Mishthi's voice.
“That's great. I'm glad to hear things are going smoothly for you.”
Mishthi chuckled softly, a knowing look in her eyes.
“Thanks. But about you and Bhai...”
Aaira’s expression stiffened slightly’. She tried to keep her voice neutral as she replied,
“Oh please Me and Him...Neverrrr”
Mishthi raised her eyebrows skeptically, a small smirk playing on her lips.
“Never, huh? You sure about that?”
Aaria forced a laugh, trying to sound convincing.
“Of course I’m sure.”
Mishthi tilted her head, a hint of amusement in her eyes.
“okay if you say so...”
Aaria felt relieved that Mishthi seemed to accept her dismissal, hoping the conversation would move on to a different topic.
“Well Mishthi I gotta say you are quick learner last night Dal chawal and Chicken was bomb.”
Mishthi’s amused expression as she frowned.
“Umm what Dal chawal and chiken???.”
