Aaira came out of washroom sat up on stool, her eyes red and swollen from crying all night...As she saw Her phone ringing for th time Mahek was Calling her as silent her phon.

Thoughts of the previous day swirled in her head...as she don't wanna talk to her now it's so complicated She had accepted her father’s decision, but her heart ached like never before.

She looked at herself in the mirror. her swelling eyes, a haunted look on her face. when a knock come on the door...

She took a deep breath, trying to compose herself before calling out, her voice thick with unshed tears.

“Come in...”

The door opened, and Sofia walked in with dress. her eyes widened slightly at the sight of her red eyes and tear-streaked face, but she didn't say a word. she knew what Aaira was going through a difficult time and the worst part is she could do nothing about it.

Aaira met her eyes, the despair in her gaze visible.

“I know I look terrible”, she murmured, laughing bitterly.

Sofia walked further into the room, placing the dress gently on the bed. She turned to Aaira, her voice soft and gentle.

“You could never look terrible, Aaira.” She paused, her eyes studying her.

“Have you slept at all...?”

Aaira shook her head, letting out a deep sigh
“I tried...but I couldn't. Everything is just too much... The more i think about it, the more I feel like I’m stuck in a nightmare I can’t wake up from...”

Sofia sat down beside her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.

“I know how hard this must be for you...but don't worry Time heals everything”

Aaira’s mouth twisted into a bitter smile
“Time? How can time heal a lifetime of misery? This is not a sprained ankle that will heal with time. I'm being forced to throw my life away, Aunty... To marry a stranger, to live a lie for who knows how long...for Abba everything is just a business deal.”

Sofia's heart ached for her, knowing all too well the reality of their world, the cruel and unfeeling nature of their father.

“You're right, Aaira. In this world, we females are just seen as tools, assets to be used for the benefit of the family. We have no Say in our future, no choice in who we marry.”

Aaira let out a deep sigh, her head
dropping in resignation. Sofia gently patted her shoulder, her voice soft.

“But Aaira, don't lose hope. You're the strongest person I know. You've been through so much, but you’ve always kept going, fighting...Even when everything seemed hopeless. This is just another test you have to face. You will get through it, and there will be brighter days.”

Aaira wiped away a stray tear, looking up at Sofia with a small nod before Walking inside washroom to change.

Sofia watched her go, her heart heavy with worry. She hoped Aaira would find the strength to face the challenges ahead.

After a few minutes, Aaira reappeared in the room, now dressed in the dress, she had been handed. The dress was beautiful, but the sight of it filled her with bitterness instead of the usual excitement. She walked around, adjusting the fabric, her movements  slow and automatic.
