It was the day of the engagement ceremony. The house was buzzing with activity as preparations were made. Everyone was working together to ensure that the event went smoothly. Rohan and Mishthi were both feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement.
They were both getting dressed in their finest traditional clothes. Mishthi was wearing a beautiful red and gold lehenga, her hair loose in soft waves. Rohan was wearing a white kurta and matching churidars, his beard perfectly trimmed and groomed.
Everyone else was running around, making sure everything was in order. There was the sound of music and laughter, as the family gathered around to prepare for the ceremony.
A little before the start of the ceremony, Rocky pulled Rohan aside for a private moment.

Rocky grew serious again, his gaze holding Rohan’s.
“I just wanted to make sure you understand the kind of responsibility you're taking on here. Mishthi is my little sister, and she means the world to me. I may seem like a tough guy on the outside, but when it comes to her, I can be quite protective.”
Rohan nodded, understanding the message.
“I know, Bhai. I understand. Mishthi is important to me too, and I promise you that I'll take care of her. She'll always be safe with me.”
Rocky smiled at him, satisfied with his answer. He clapped him on the shoulder again.
“Good. I know I don't need to give you some long speech about treating her right because I know you will. But just remember that I’m watching you. Don't mess this up.”
Rohan smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. He knew that Rocky was being serious, yet there was also a hint of playfulness in his tone.
