time seemed to stretch, everything seeming agonizingly slow. your hand in which was stretched out to reach his, almost felt as if it wasn't there. the wind engulfed your entire body, bristling through your skin, as it swallowed you whole.

he stared at you with so much... fear and determination. he looked so scared, and all you could do was let your body embrace the air, and foolishly hold your hand out.

as the ground rushed up to meet you, you couldn't help but mumble, "chat noir..."

his beautiful green eyes were brimming with tears, even at your last moments, all you could do was stare at his eyes. they always stared at you with such comfort and genuity. you closed your eyes to gain a sense of clairty, immersing with the wind.

it was oddly comforting to stare at those eyes amid all the chaos of impending doom. small memories flickered through your eyes— laughing with friends, the warmth and homeliness of adrien's embrace, the bliss moments of youth. you had always feared death, like everyone else. however, as you were falling, a strange sense of comfort enveloped you.

as the wind whipped through your clothes, and gnawed your skin. in those final moments, the only thing in your mind was 'how long would it take for you to hit the ground?' allowing the wind to swallow you whole, you began to accept your fate, embracing the ground.

everything hurt.

your body felt mangled. it ached and screamed, your body felt so... hot, like it was burning. you couldn't move, you lost all feel of your muscles, and the only thing you had control of was your eyes. a strong pericing pain emitted from your spine and your head, nothing but muffles of screams, sirens, and ringing in your ear.

your head felt sticky and warm, brain foggy and eyes staring to see black.

mustering up the energy, you tried moving your arms. however, it almost felt as if your limbs weren't even connected to your body.

you couldn't do anything but lay there. were you dying?

you watched as police cars began to swarm you, your eyes fluttering, fighting off the urge to close.

you felt so sleepy. a heavy weight settling in your chest.

you noticed your reflection on a car door, your lifeless body laying on a pool of your own sticky warm blood. unable to do do anything but move your eyes, tears began to fall.

the world around you began to fade, your eyes becoming more heavy with every hitched breath. the sounds of life slowly becoming a dim whisper.

you felt an embrace of warmth, an odd sense of comfort and peace.

soon enough all you saw was black.

...

how can i know that i
fully lived my life?

i'm just a kid.
i'm... scared of death.

i just want to play with my friends.

i'm still young,
i don't want to... die.

we were all so young,
forced to grow up for the greater good
of the world. but i don't want that.

the ground hurts. it's painful.

i still forgive you.
