Chapter 7 - Good Boy But Playboy

Too bad today is the last day of weekend, Sunday, and tomorrow is Monday already, ugh. I will be going to church and I can't wait to meet Lindsey. She was my close friend at church, I haven't met her for a couple of weeks.

As usual, I didn't just got up from bed after I woke up, ofcourse I turn on my phone first and check out everything.
I wonder why Brian haven't text me as much as usual this past few days. Was he that busy? Did he find another girl? Or he give up already? I feel like I missed his texts.

So I decided to check him on social media, like Twitter to find out the answer. Guess what? I was right. He found another girl, maybe he was bored with me. He updated his profile and said "Debbie's ♡"

Irene told me once that Brian texted her sometimes and the text was like "Hey, Irene, how are ya?", "What are you doin?", "What's up?". She really ignored him, she didn't reply his texts sometimes, because she had a boyfriend already but not many people knew it.

Was he flirting with girls and then choose one to be his girlfriend? Ugh well, I will try harder to forget everything about him and really avoid him this time. I think I kinda hate him, but not that much.

Oh, I really can't wait to see Lindsey. She knew about Brian, she said that he was cute and I should give him a chance, she really ship me with Brian. But she will find out about him soon and she probably will upset. So today, I chose to wear a white shirt with a brown cardigan and a blue jeans.

As I arrived at church, worship already began so I started looking around for Lindsey until I found her. I walked towards her and sat beside her.

"Hey, Kate", she said.

I didn't even say hi, the first thing I said to her was...

"Brian finally got a girlfriend."

Her happy face suddenly turned into a worried face and all she said was, "What?". I just smiled and didn't continue the conversation, I wasn't really in the mood. So I just started to sing the song. After church, I finally had a time to tell Lindsey everything.

"I thought he was a really good boy, I mean, he treated you right", she said.

"Yeah, he is a good boy, he was nice to people and yes, he treated me right, he isn't a bad boy, but just a playboy I guess"

"Ugh, sounds like a jerk"

"Yeah I guess so"

"Do you have a picture of his girlfriend?"

"I think I can look for it on Twitter, wait a sec", I pulled out my phone and stalked Debbie's Twitter. So I opened her profile picture and handed my phone to Lindsey.

"She's not that pretty though, you're prettier than her. She's kinda fat and you're skinny. How can he chose her and not you? Is he that blind?"

"Well you know, some people said that love is blind"

"Yeah, I'm sorry, Kate. How are you feeling right now?"

"I don't know, I just kinda hate him"

"You gotta try to move on, Kate. Forget his sweet texts and everything"

"That's my plan, thanks Linz"

We hugged. I felt better after I told Lindsey everything. She understood me, glad to saw her today.

That night, I was going to my cousin's house. It was only few blocks away from my house, so I walked with my dad. I was glad to see my cousin, Sharon. She was more like my sister and my super best friend, she was one of my favorite people in my life. When I arrived there, I went to Sharon's room. She looked so glad to see me. She knew about Brian and I told her everything. She looked concerned then hugged me. Such a dramatic day, huh?

I was bored, Sharon and I had nothing to talk about. So I decided to sit in the balcony, alone. Just playing with my phone. beep beep *my phone vibrated*

Ugh it was Brian.

Brian:
"Hey, Kate"

Me:
"Hi"

Brian:
"What are you doing right now?"

Me:
"Im at my cousin's house"

Brian:
"I asked what are you doing, not where are you lol"

Yeah jerk, whatever.

Me:
"Yea, im sitting"

Brian:
"Oh, good to know"

I didn't reply anything, he will never know I liked him back. Yeah! I was going to tweet it!

Oh, Brian, you didn't get what I actually meant. I was talking to you, Brian. Oh I forgot you've got a girlfriend already, you won't understand me. Waste my time.
