Chapter 6 - Became Good Friends

It was three months already, so my teacher decided to move our seats. I already got comfortable to sit beside Dean, he was fun though. He helped me when I forgot something, even homeworks. My teacher started calling the names and chose the seats.

Guess what? My teacher moved Dean beside Reece! Oh I bet they won't stop talking. My teached kept calling the names until it was my turn to be called.

"Kate? You move there", he pointed the seat in front of Dean and Reece, yayyy! I was glad to sit close to Dean's, I don't know Reece really well. But I will be sitting beside Finn, my not-really-close friend, and he was boring.

"Hey, we meet again, Dean", I greeted Dean then Reece, "Hi, Reece"

Reece nodded and smiled at me.

"Yeah right, you again", Dean rolled his eyes with a smirk on his face.

We sat there until 4 months already, Irene sat beside me sometimes, and yes, it was hard to make Finn move, but he did move. When it was time for the teacher to move the seats, he didn't move us anywhere.

So, Irene, Dean, Reece and I got closer. There was no day for us without laughing out loud until our stomach hurt. If teacher told us to do works as a team, we were always together. Few of my friends didn't like them. Some reasons were because they weren't smart, and some were because they were sucks. The "they weren't smart" part is correct actually, but why hate it? You can't hate them because they weren't smart.

Marc was the one who disliked them so much, especially Dean. Whatever Dean did, Marc always mocked him. I don't know why he disliked him so much without any reason. And ofcourse it made Dean disliked him back, well at least Dean had a reason.

"Such a girl", Marc mocked Dean.

"You're the one who is a baby girl, dummy", Dean said.

"Oh too proud of your bad grades?"

"You're talking too much, baby girl"

"At least I have a brain and you don't"

"Shut the hell up"

"Why can't you use your brain?"

Oh you said Dean didn't have a brain like five seconds ago.

"Mind your own business"

"What? You're scared of me?"

"Just shut up"

"Such a baby, wanna cry?"

Dean tried to calm down as he whispered to Reece, "I wanna punch him"

"Just ignore him", I said to Dean.

Yeah, that was the example how Marc disliked him and tried to make problems. Yes, Marc was smart, but he didn't need to feel so proud of it. He didn't need to annoy Dean too, like he didn't have his own problems. I just wish Marc would get a life soon.

I don't care what people think about Dean or Reece, they were a good friend for me and Irene. They were awesome, fun and absolutely crazy lol. I'm so glad the teacher moved us. We became good friends.

When I was with my friends talking in front of the school, I saw the 9th graders just got out from their class and gathered, and there was Brian. He didn't join them, but he sat near them. As I was talking with my friends, I looked at Brian and catched him staring at me sometimes. Then he wanted to go home I guess, but he had to pass me and my friends. My heartbeat ran fast as he walked towards us. When he got closer and my friends noticed him then looked at me, they started to tease me.

"GUESS WHO'S HERE KATE"

"AWWW"

"KATEEEEE"

They can't just keep their mouth shut, oh my gosh. I hope he didn't feel annoyed by my friends.

When I got home, I opened Twitter and noticed what Brian just tweeted.

@brian...: "So annoying"

Okay, thanks a lot to my friends. But he actually texted me as usual like nothing happened. We didn't even talk about it, cause it would be awkward if we did. We really haven't talk about the people that teased us yet. All we talked about when we text was:

"Morning"

"What's up?"

"I'm bored"

"Have you eat?"

"What time will you sleep?"

"What are you doing right now?"

"Where are you going?"

"Good night"

We texted like that everyday and I know it was absolutely boring. Sometimes we talked about our friends, our favorite things, etc. Brian was actually a nice person. No wonder he had so many friends though.

No one knows that I liked Brian at school. I didn't want to tell anyone, even Irene. It's not like I didn't trust her or what, but I'm just afraid Brian will find out. I mean, it will be alright if he find out, but I will feel uncomfortable and embarassed. I also didn't want to be her girlfriend, I tried to avoid him. So I'm not going to tell them.
