Chapter 9 - Turned Into A Good Day

It was Thursday and it didn't start well. I was the kind of person who hates late, because I didn't like to hurry. School started at 6:30am and I usually wake up at 5. My alarm didn't rang, my parents haven't wake up yet. Until my dad woke up and shouted as he rushed, "Kate, wake up! It's 6 already! You gotta hurry up!"

I rushed to the bathroom, got a quick shower and brushed my teeth. Then put on my uniform and sprayed my perfume. I didn't care about breakfast, it's 6:25 already!

Oh my gosh I hate this. Just because that simple problem could ruin my mood. That dau we had sport, biology, art and geography. I walked faster than usual until I was sweating already when I arrived at school. I totally hate sweating before school, even if the first class we had was sport.

We played basketball and I was quiet. I had Irene, Heidi, Dean, Joe, Phil and Kai in my team. And we had to beat Leena, Heidi, Reece, Dan, Finn, Riley and Marc. I just did whatever I should did but didn't even say a word. When the game was over, Irene was going to get her bottle in class and I sat alone in the bench. Then I saw two figures walked towards me. Reece and Kai.

"Why have you been so quiet?", Reece asked.

Reece asked me! Reece noticed??? Wow.

I didn't really want to tell him, don't ask why because I don't know. So I shook my head and gave him a weak smile. He raised his eyebrows and smiled at me, didn't ask more questions. My mood became better when I know he noticed, ofcourse. So, when Irene came back and asked me the same question, I answered her with a nothing-happened smile, lol.

We had ten minutes to change our clothes with our uniform then we got back to the class to attend Biology.

"Hey, why were you so quiet?", Dean asked.

"I know right", Reece said.

"It was nothing guys, I was just lazy to open my mouth"

Nonsense.

Reece and Dean looked confused.

"Right", Dean said as he rolled his eyes.

The teacher came in and immediately gave us a work to do and if it isn't completed that day, we won't get our value. So we opened our books, took our pens and started working.

Irene and I worked together, like always. In the seventh grade, Irene was first ranked and I was second ranked. So we could get better results if we work together. Reece and Dean weren't that smart and they liked to cheat. They asked my and Irene's answers.

Reece and Dean was bothering Irene. Reece didn't stop calling Irene's name like "Rene rene rene rene rene rene rene rene rene rene rene ..." and Dean was tickling Irene's neck, because neck was Irene's weakness. She looked tortured as I just sat there beside her laughing at her. They didn't bother me, until Reece noticed me laughing at Irene but not bothered by them.

"Umm, is she ticklish?", Reece cleared his throat as he gave me a devilish look.

"No", I said as my eyes widen.

Then he tickled me right in my weakness part, my waist.

"Oh... So you're ticklish", he said as he laughed at me.

I laughed and moved away from him, he wasn't an annoying person so he didn't try to catch me and tickle me again. Unlike Dean. Dean was busy bothering Irene until she was getting annoyed, Dean didn't stop teasing her. All she said was:

"Please, stop"

"Come on, Dean"

"Enough already"

"Ugh, Dean"

"I'm being serious"

Reece and I were just laughing at them. Poor Irene. Dean is the kind of person who loved to tease people until they got annoyed. The teacher called our names for few times and reminded us that we won't get our value if we didn't finish the work. But luckily, we finished it. We got few answers from others, but we did it mostly. After we gave our books to the teacher, Irene went to the restroom and Dean was talking with Joe. So when I got back to my seat, there was only Reece and I, alone, again.

"Hey, Kate", Reece called me.

"Sup"

"Do you use bbm messenger?"

"Yeah"

"Can I have your bbm pin?"

"Yeah ofcourse, but I don't remember my pin"

"So... how can I have it?"

"Maybe I'll give it to you tomorrow"

"Okay"

He asked for my bbm pin! He wanted to know my bbm pin! I mean, who would have thought that it would happen?

When I got home, I finished my after-school routine then opened my bbm messenger. I realized that I didn't have his contact. I had Dean's but not him. I should start to memorize my bbm pin and tell him tomorrow. Oh my gosh. I finally will have his contact soon, what a good day.
