Tara's POV
"Let me help you.." I said with my soft whisper.
The guy quickly stood up and held the blade in front of me as he quickly removed his hood off. "Don't you F*CKING touch me! LEAVE ME ALONE... leave me alone..." He said with a scared voice.
"TARA!!!!! GET AWAY FROM HIM RIGHT NOW!!" Mr. Cameron shouted from afar.
My eyes widened to see the blade close to my stomach.. I stopped breathing for a while, staring at the blade then to his teary scared blue eyes. He looked confused..He didn't know if he would really stab me or himself.
"NATHAN! Please... Please put the blade down..." Mrs. Cameron said nervously.
Nathan? They know him?!
Nathan threw the blade down and ran away. Mom, Mrs. and Mr. Cameron ran towards me after.
"Honey... Are you okay?" Mom cried, hugging me tightly.
"I'm fine mom.." I said, breathing again.
One day later at Morbard New York High school,
(Classroom; Morning)
"Tara!!!" My bff, Rose, approached and sat on the seat beside me.
Rose had long hair too but hers was blackish red and curly. She had fair skin like mine. She always wore eye contacts like the colors pure black and dark violet even though she had lucky green eyes.
"Hey..." I said weakly, massaging my head.
"You hanged up yesterday?" She said, putting her bag under her chair.
"Well you see.. ugh.. long story.. I'll tell you later.." I sighed, bowed my head on the table, and thought about what Mr. Cameron warned me yesterday.
~FLASHBACK~
"Honey... Are you okay?" Mom cried, hugging me tightly.
"I'm fine mom.." I said, breathing again.
"Let's all go back inside the house and discuss what happened here.." Mr. Cameron suggested, escorting us back to their house.
When we arrived inside, we sat in the living room. Mrs. Eva gave me a hot beverage to bring my senses back.
"So... How did that situation happen, Tara?" Mr. Cameron asked and sat beside me.
"Well.. I was talking to Rose in my phone, then that guy passed by me and he accidentally dropped his blade.. so I caught his attention and gave him what's his. After that, I sat back at the swing... but then I heard him screaming out loud in the middle of the street.. he was about to stab himself but I ran and tried to stop him." I explained, looking down the carpet.
"Tara dear.. I won't tell you what exactly he is.. but I have to warn you... he's dangerous. SO DON'T EVER GO NEAR HIM.. NEVER TALK TO HIM.. AND DON'T LET HIM TALK TO YOU.. he will just confuse you.."
I leaned on the couch as Mr. Cameron said about the "Confuse" word. "What do you mean he will confuse me?" I asked, looking curiously at him.
"We'll tell you at the right time.. anyway, just ignore him whenever you see him again okay?" He instructed. "Or stay out of trouble" Mrs. Eva added.
