It was pitch black in that place.

There were... trees around.

Belva felt the grass underneath her.

She was scurried away on the ground.

"Eren!", Grisha was shouting as he was holding onto his son that fought him.

"Stop, dad! You're scaring us!", the boy screamed.

Belva was next to them, trembling.

"What– what are you trying to do?", she asked her father who had a manic expression.

"Just give me your arms!", he demanded from both of them.

"No!", Eren's voice screeched inside her ears.

"Mom's death has made you go crazy!"

Grisha ignored him.

He harshly grabbed Belva's right arm first.

"Dad, let go!", the girl was loud as she felt his grip on her tightening, having no way to escape him.

"Belva!", Eren cried from next to her.

A stinging sensation rushed through her arm as things got blurred. Her dad's voice just echoed in her head along side Eren's grunting and protests.

"This is for your own sake!"

"What are you talking about?!"

"The basement..."

"You must reach it!"

"Until... you learn... the truth someday...!"

And then each sound stopped and her breath got caught up on her throat, her whole body sinking in a liquid darkness...

"Belva!"

Eren shook her shoulders rapidly.

She jolted awake from her dream, which had felt too real, and took in quickened breaths.
