Belva Jaeger was never the person to make loads of friends. When she was younger, having an energetic twin and an intimidating sister, she was at the side lines. Quiet and shy and scared of almost everything and everyone.

Maybe that was one of the reasons why her and Armin agreed in so many things. They were the epitome of the friend that other people must be internally asking why the others chose to befriend. At least that was her deal, because she could find many reasons to befriend Armin.

She, on the other hand, was so uninteresting that having the number of friends she had while growing up was a feat.

So, taking in account her childhood, it was surprising for her to have made so many acquaintances in the training camp. It was a place she wasn't that fond of, but it admittedly was a place where she had met many people.

Ten year old Belva wouldn't believe her if she told her she was sitting in her friends' cabin, watching one of them braiding one's hair while they all chatted about nothing important. If she heard that, she would have laughed in her face, or probably have gotten embarrassed of the mockery and nearly cried. That little girl still was hidden inside her, but it seemed she had grown quite a lot.

"How is it looking so far, Belva?", Sasha asked as she was sat on the floor.

"I am offended you don't blindly trust my skills.", Mina intervened as she was braiding the brunette's hair, sitting on her bed.

"Oh, I'm sorry, yeah.", the girl with the actually half done beautiful braid replied in a sarcastic tone.

The Jaeger lowly giggled at their short talk and got closer to Mina, checking the back of her other friend's head.

"It's so pretty.", she said.

Her and Mina were on Sasha's bed, the one seated and working on their friend's head whereas Belva was lying across the mattress, her head steadied in her palms.

"If you say so that's what matters.", Sasha's voice was heard and you could paint the picture of her sweet smile in your head.

"Ouch!", she suddenly exclaimed as Mina pulled on a strand of her hair, still working on it.

"Sorry.", the black haired teen apologised shortly and kept on her work.

"If I still had long hair you could braid it too.", Belva spoke her thoughts out loud and turned around to lay on her back.

As to be comfortable, she put her head on the other girl's lap, looking up her moving arms.

"Short hair suits you.", Mina peeked a glance down the girl to check her reaction at her words.
