She was born in 835.
She turned ten years old in 845.
She lost her home at that age.
She joined in the training corps in 847.
She spent 848 training and trying and now that year had passed by.
It was the 31st of January of 848.
Belva was seated down a wooden bench placed near a long table. This night, being New Year's Eve, the instructors had decided to be generous and let them all sit together and eat a better meal.
Tonight, their stew contained meat.
Walking in the dinner cabin, Sasha was nearly running, drool down her mouth.
The Jaeger had found it hilarious.
Sitting on the feasty table, she was squished in between Connie and Armin.
Her brother was opposite them, with Mikasa on his own right and Sasha on his left.
The rest of the cadets were also near.
Thomas, Mina, Louise, Daz, Samuel, Christa, Ymir, Marco, Jean, Reiner, Bertholdt, Annie and more.
There was a weirdly happy atmosphere around the trainees and the talking and laughing of everyone was fulfilling the girl's ears.
Her chest was warm as an unusual full feeling sunk on it.
Was it maybe helping in recreating her once lost heart?
The one she thought was unrepairably broken.
"Meat!", Sasha chanted excitedly as she took the first mouthful of her soup.
"Quiet down.", Mikasa scolded her.
The black haired girl seemed like trying to savour the lively atmosphere as well. However, not being a fun of extreme noise.
"Look at that!", Connie encouraged his friend, having grabbed a big piece of his meat and showcasing it to everyone.
He got it near Belva's face who nervously smiled, before her brother spoke,
"Don't touch your food, Connie!"
"Alright, mom!", the bald boy mocked him.
"Did you just call me mom, you moron?", the green eyed boy asked enraged.
"He did!", Jean was suddenly heard laughing from somewhere near.
"Just eat your food, horse face!", Belva intervened.
