Sincere. All that I want

"Sincere do you know the answer" mrs.rollman said

Everybody turned their eyes on me and I suddenly froze up

"Um no I don't" I said

"Sincere you sure , you passed your test with an A" she replied

"Well I forgot" I said

"Let me see you after class" she said

"Sure" I said

This was the period Jason was in my class and he looked at me a couple times and that's only because his little crew wasn't here.

"Okay , now since this is the end of the year , I didn't want to work you guys to hard but I wanted to give you guys a project grade being that it may help a few of your grades. So this should be easy. Now this is a group project so you will be graded on how well your group works together and how your group presents the project but you will also be graded individually. You get to pick any topic we have worked on all year and you have to do either a poster power point , movie maker , scrapbook whatever you want to do. Now you guys have 5 minutes to pick who you're going to work with. No more than 2 people in a group so get to choosing.

I stood around waiting for someone to come to me and ask me to be their partner , I wasn't popular , no-one in this class talked to me. I watched everyone partner up until ...

"Look -

"Jason I don't want to hear whatever you have to say and I don't want to work with you" I said

"I didn't ask you to work with me " he said

"Well why are-

"Yet" he said cutting me off

"What" I said

"I didn't ask you to work with me yet" he repeated

"Jason I'm not working with you because you're not going to want to work with me outside of school , or in another class inside school , you don't even want to be seen around me , you keep looking around to make sure no one sees you speaking to me" I said

" Look I want to work with you okay , just give me a yes or no" he said

"No" I said

"I'm not taking no for an answer" he Said

"So how you want to present this project" he said

"Jason I said I did-

"Jason are you working with sincere" the teacher asked

"Yes" he said

"N-

"We working together sincere" he said cutting me off

The teacher called on everyone and wrote down everyone's partners. I didn't want to work with Jason but then at the same time I did even though he didn't want to be seen around me I still enjoyed some of the attention he gave me. Jason was brownskin , he was tall , he had a beautiful smile , he wasn't buff but had muscle.

Working with Jason was kind of fun , he was funny . He didn't act how he did when he was around devin.

"Why are you being so nice to me" I asked

"What do you mean" he said writing down our ideas

"Like you don't look at me or talk to me when you're around your friends" I said

"I mean being popular is just a big stereotype , everybody expect you to be someone you're really not. When I was in elementary I wasn't the coolest kid but when I got to middle school I started playing football and basketball and I started hanging with Devin and Omar , and and Marcus , and all of them , all the lil hoes started wanting me , so of course I was gonna continue to portray someone I wasn't. This is high school , there's two categories .. you're either somebody or you're nobody and I was gonna be somebody I made that clear when I became a freshman" he said

"Wow , hard life huh? I said

"Shut up" he said laughing

The bell rung an mrs. Rollman started dismissing her class

"Well I'll talk to you tomorrow in this class" I said

"Dont be like that" he said walking away.

I kinda started to like him , he was nice and he was honest with me today

I went into my next and Ariel was in this class with me , she was so pretty , I loved all the material things she had.

"Wassup ariel" king said to her

King was the finest boy in this school he hung out with Jason them to. He didn't look better than Jason now that I had just a little crush on him.

"Hey king " she replied

He then winked at her and she blushed

I wanted that attention from boys like she had got. I wanted boys to look at me how they had looked at her. I knew that would never happen though , I wore big ragedy clothes and ripped flats and old sandles and just I just wanted more expensive things , I've never had anything expensive like Michael kors and chanel and Louis vutton. I wanted that but I was never gonna get it.

The day was over and I was ready to go home. Jason looked at me multiple times today but wouldn't speak , he wouldn't even look long he'd just glance.

It was about to me the end of the school  year and I was gone have an image , I was gone make myself somebody this is my last year and I wasnt gonna be classified as nobody. I was gonna do whatever I had to , to make myself look good , look popular , look like I had money , and I'm saying anything
