"Hey baby sis" Mario said as I walked in the house

"I need a favor" I said

"What , well I know you got paid and I need you to give me some money" I said

"Sincere I'm not gone have no money , mama asked me to pay her loan-

"She got another one" I said

"Yep , I told her to stop getting money she can't pay back" he said

I took a deep breath and just looked at him

"Then I got to give iyana some money for Passion " he said

"I know , then I been asking her for the DNA test , she be procrastinating" he said

"Working late" he said

"I thought she worked late on fridays" I said

"Me to but she had called a lil before you got in and told me " he said

I shook my head and went in my room and sat on the bed and wondered how I was gone get this make up and stuff for tomorrow.

"Mario , Ill be back" I said

"Where you going" he said

"Outside , tired of sitting here" I told him

"Alright" he said and went back to doing whatever he was doing on his phone"

I walked to the nearest hair store which was called "The WareHouse" I walked in and seen weave jewelry makeup and all.

I went to the make section where the lipstick and mascara and eyeliner was , I looked around and start putting the stuff my purse. I went on the jewelry section and started putting earrings and all in my purse.

"Hey , are you paying for that" a lady said when I was just about to put the necklace in my purse

"Um , no I was just putting it back" I said attempting to leave

"Can I check you purse" the last said

"Nooo" I said

She then grabbed the strap and pulled it which ripped open my purse and everything fell out so I instantly ran. She yelled to the security guard outside and he got in his car and chased me.

"Please , I put everything back" I said

"I'm sorry but you're under arrest for theft" he said and put me in the car

I immediately started crying

It was about 9:30 and they gave me my phone call

We were now outside the jail and I began walking

"Sincere what was you thinking stealing , what the fuck wrong with you , stealing make up and shit" he said

" mario you don't know what it feels like to be me , okay . I go to school get picked on for how my hair look the clothes I wear. I just wanted to be pretty , that's it. I just wanted to be pretty " I cried as he hugged me

"Sincere you are pretty , fuck what they say.... You're my sister and you're not ugly , you're beautiful don't let a couple comments make you want to steal and go to jail" he said

"I just wanted to be pretty & for the boys to notice me " I cried

"You are , & I love you sis ... Just because you ain't getting attention from none these niggas don't mean you can't be happy , a nigga not gone make you happy , you make you happy" he said

I wiped my face and nodded

"No come on , creamcheese" he said

" You're a creamcheese" I said punching him and then we walked home
