After hours and hours of getting ready and endless conversation with my hired bridesmaids and Lilliana were are done and so is Mathew. I'm not sure if his guys are hired or they are his actual friends. We head downstairs and there are two limousines. The one at the back is written "Girls Squad" the one in front is written "Boys Squad ". No to be rude but is that not a little to much.
" OMG he did it. I didn't think he would do it " Lilliana claps her hands together and jumps around. I look at her with a confused face.
" Oh sorry. I asked my brother to write that on the limousines. I didn't think he would actually do it" she explains her crazy idea. That totally explains it. "oh" that's the only answer I could come up with. We get into the car and Lilliana grabs the champagne and starts pouring for everyone.
" So how did you guys meet" one of the girls ask who I believes name is Audrey. I knew this question would come up but luckily me and Mathew already made it up.
" I was at the park jogging and some dude on bike almost hits but before he could Matt grabs me out of the way but then when he was grabbing me I twisted my ankle and he offers to take me to the hospital. Long story short we started talking and became friends and wanted more and the rest is history. " A really cheesy story I know but it was the best we could come up with since Mathew goes for jogging in the morning.
" Awww how sweet. What a sweet way to meet . So romantic " one girl says
I can't believe they actually bought that
" well what can I say Matt is actually romantic."
Matt where did I get that nickname but it's cute. I wonder if he gave me a nickname. Hell no what am I thinking. After a few more chity chats we arrive at the venue of my wedding. We go round the back. After a few minutes of waiting It's now time
Time for me to be officially Mrs Rosella Avery Mathew Brian Walker. Time for me to be a loving ,caring and wife to Walker.
" You ready? " Lilliana looks at me concerned. " Super ready " I take a deep breath.
I walk and the doors open and everyone stands up and turn their attention towards me. Everyone is smiling while I slowly walk down the aisle towards to the man I'm giving my whole life to whom I will cherish forever. I just wish this dream wedding was real. I just wish he loved me and I loved him instead of this fake lie. I have always dreamed of this day but not like this.
As soon as I arrive he gives me a small smile and puts his hand in front me to take. I put my hand in his and we are now looking at each other and the priest in the middle. Everyone sits down.
" We are all gathered here today to join Mathew Walker and Rosella Tyler in holy matrimony" I swallow slowly as the priest says. " Before I continue does anyone object this holy matrimony" the priest asks and after a few minutes of silence he continues.
" okay....Mr Walker do you take Miss Tyler to be your wife? Do you promise to be faithful to her in good times and bad, in sickness and in health, to love and to honor her all the days of your life." Walker looks at me for a few seconds and opens his mouth and closes and opens again
" I do"
" Miss Tyler do you take Mr Walker to be your husband? Do you promise to be faithful to him in good time and bad, in sickness and health, to love and honor him all the days of your life?" no I can't do this
" I do " the words slip out of my mouth.
One of the guys passes the priest the rings and Walker takes my ring and I take his. He softly grabs my hand and looks at me.
" I ,Matthew Walker ,take you ,Rosella Tyler to be my wife , to have and to hold from this day forward , for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer , in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish until we are parted by death."
Gosh this hall seems small when he said that. He slowly slides the dazzling ring on my finger. I slowly swallow before I grab his hand.
" I ,Rosella Tyler ,take you ,Matthew Walker to be my husband , to have and to hold from this day forward , for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer , in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish until we are parted by death."
I slide the ring on his finger
" Pronounce you husband and wife : you may kiss the bride."
Matt lips are inches to mine. His lips are soft and warm. Our kiss is slow and intimate. He grabs me by the waist and our tongues meet each other. He pulls away and I realise that everyone is on their feet clapping and cheering.
Hug after hug, congratulations after congratulations. Gosh I never realised weddings are this long. Walker has basically introduced me to the world. Business man after business men. Oh and the fun part is that I have to act like a care about his stupid company and start conversations with the business man's wife's. My feet are killing me
" I have been waiting to finally meet my daughter in law but she seems pretty interested in her husband's company" I turn behind me. It's Matt's Mother. She's so beautiful. They really look alike, it's almost like the female version of Matt but not too much maybe the eyes. I smile and hug her and I instantly feel her love when she hugs me back.
" Sorry to keep you waiting but I was saving the last for the best" we both softly laugh. " I'm glad "
" Oh look my two favorite ladies already getting along" without even turning I already know who it is.
" Awww Mathew I'm so happy for you. Your father would be so proud of you " she gives him a smile. " Thank you Mum " he tells her and turns to me. " Rose I just got a call from work so I have to go but don't worry you can stay and continue to celebrate for the both of us. John will be outside waiting until you are ready to leave."
" Okay Matt see you at home. " he kisses my cheek and also his mother and leaves.
" I can't believe he just did that to you. He's a workaholic just like his father. Don't worry you get used to it."
" I totally understand. He really adores his work and I support him. "
" He doesn't deserve you. Shall we go since he said you should celebrate for the both of you" she smiles
" Okay Miss"
" Oh pleas call me Karen "
" okay " I smiles and I return her one.
