I spend the rest of the night with Karen telling me about her teenage years when she met Chris who is Matt's father. Danced a bit and had champagne. I finally gave in and decided to leave. I walk to the car and John opens the door and I get in. The car ride is quiet. We arrive at the apartment and I get in the elevator. As soon as the elevator door opens I'm welcome by a dress which one of my bridesmaids was wearing. I look over the kitchen counter there are two empty glasses of wine. A big lump is formed on my throat as I see my new weeded husband's suit on the floor.
I hear a girl giggle. I remove my heels and go to my so called room and close the door.
Who in the world sleeps with his wife's bridesmaids just after the wedding and actually lies in front of his own mother that there's is something needed at work. Oh right yeah it's Mathew Brian Walker that's who. I should have know.
I change into my pajamas and get into bed. I can hear her giggle. Can't I just get a good night sleep. Minutes later I hear loud banging sounds of the headboard.
" Oh yeah baby.... yes ugh " no sound proof walls. How lovely. I get out of bed and head to the kitchen. Maybe I should have a glass of water. I fill my glass and sit down taking a sip of water in the dark waiting for these two to finish their business.
I really knew this guy was a jerk but not this kind of a jerk. I just can't believe he would actually do this. I feel so disgusted and angry.
" What are you doing?" I jump a little. Oh great.
" Am I not allowed to drink water when I'm thirsty." he switches on the light. He's only in his boxes. Gosh he looks like a Greek god. Oh who am I kidding he's super hot, his chest looks like rock with those six pack and abs.
" Are you done gawking?"
What?
"I'm not gawking. It's just that you disturbed my midnight water break." Really nice excuse
" Sure" he scoffs
You know what I'm done playing miss innocent
" You really have the nerve to actually lie in front of your mother that you are needed at the office when you actually coming to your....our apartment to sleep with one of my bridesmaids." I say quietly
" Excuse me? "
" You heard me. "
"Listen to...., "
"No you listen, I don't care who that girl is but I would love some piece and quiet here coz I need my beauty sleep please coz I'm damn tired of playing pretend since morning. So please just have a little heart and just respect me as your wife since I'm now carrying your name and oh yeah your lovely reputation. Good night." I stand up and leave him standing there with a shocked face. Damn I just did that. This is going to be fun. Watch out Mathew Walker because it's about to get down.
Mathew's POV
"Did you get the water Mathew? "
Who the fuck does she think she is? How can she disrespect me like that? Oh Rosella you are going to regret saying all those things to me tonight.
" Earth to Mathew " Stephen snaps me out of my thoughts. "What? " I ask coldly " Jesus chill out. Where's the water that I asked for? " fuck I got distracted by Rosella and forgot to take water. Fuck Stephen get the water by yourself.
" Can you please be quiet I need to think " I snap. " Oh I get it you must be frustrated by your new wife . Don't worry I know a way to fix that." Stephen kisses my neck but irritated by her kiss and I shift from the bed.
