Fake it - Jude Bellingham

Winter break

Isabella's POV

After drinking a hot chocolate milk yesterday, we went to bed early. I plopped down on the couch and then fell asleep. I heard Jude say: "Even though I deserved to win, you can sleep in the bed."
I pretended not to hear it and stayed on the couch.
Now I wake up to a shower that I hear running. I sit up and grab my ski gear from the suitcase that my parents brought.
When Jude is done showering, he enters the hotel room in his towel. "Morning. Did you sleep well?" he says with a satisfied look. I throw a pillow that is next to the suitcase at his head. "Hehe, I deserved to win."

I hear a knock on the door after which I hear Finn say "We're going to have breakfast."
I open the hotel door and see Finn standing with Levi all ready in their ski clothes. "I missed this," I say laughing.
"I'd like to have a quick breakfast and then hit the slopes," Finn says impatiently. I nod in agreement, put on my sweater and nod to Jude that I'm already going downstairs.

Jude is not going skiing, imagine if Laliga's top player gets injured... how sad the world would be then.

Finn, Levi and I have already finished the first round when Sarah and Jada also walk up followed by Jude next to my father. I see my father smile at him, which makes me almost choke on my food.
Jude sits down next to me and gives me a kiss on the cheek "You oke honn."
I see my father smile again and my mother also sees that he was walking behind them. She gives me a wink and then looks proudly at the rest of the family.

"Okay I'm done" says Finn as he gets up.
"Me too" Levi follows. With a sandwich still half in my mouth I also get up and want to walk away from the table when I realize that I have to say 'goodbye' to my fake boyfriend. I turn around and look at him which makes him laugh. I walk up to him, give him a kiss on his forehead "See you later honey" I say with a wink and then walk away.
"Be careful" I hear him say.

Three hours later
Levi, Finn and I have already walked quite a few kilometers and are now standing in front of the lift that goes all the way up again.
"Okay, we'll meet you there" says Finn who is on the phone with Jada. When he puts his phone in his jacket pocket he says "They found a spot in the sun upstairs."
"Nice" we say enthusiastically.

When we arrive at the top and ski a little bit down to the restaurant I see Jude already chilling in the sun next to my father who I think is giving a whole speech.
My father didn't like Lando because he earned money from a competition car. "You need someone who is intelligent, who has studied" he said every time Lando came into view.
Jude may have studied, but now earns his money by kicking a ball. But apparently my father sees something in him, or I've taken over his acting skills.

After I take off my skis, I follow Levi and Finn to the table where the whole family is sitting.
"There you are, darlings," says my mother, beaming from ear to ear.
Finn and Levi kiss their girlfriends, which makes me look at Jude, who purses his lips in satisfaction. I roll my eyes and kiss his forehead, then sit down opposite him.

Jude stands up and then asks us what we want to eat. I see my father look at him in shock and then he says "You're not going to get it, you're the guest."
I see Jude smile at my father "I'm coming as a guest and I want to treat you for that."
I stand up and walk towards Jude. "I'll help him pick it up."
We get our orders from everyone. I take Jude's hand and we walk into the restaurant together to take the order.
"Looks like you get along well with my father" I say to Jude who then gives me a satisfied look.
"Yes I had a really nice chat with him today, a really sweet man. And your mother too, also a real sweetheart."
I nod proudly at Jude when we are then asked for the order.
Jude has paid and then we walk outside, his hand goes from my side to my hand.
I see my mother looking at me happily and I give her a happy face.
