When Isabella has a chance to play the leading role in a new major film and Laliga's top player Jude Bellingham has to work on his reputation, the two are linked together as a PR stunt. A small problem, they can't get along with each other at all.
After getting ready for a party tonight, we get into the taxi that Kylian arranged for us. I sigh deeply "What a day, already." Sem squeezes my thigh "It's going to be okay babe. You and me against the world." I look at her gratefully.
When we arrive at Kylian's house I see a lot of big cars in front of the door "Where the fuck are we going now?" I say slightly tensely to Sem. "Haha this is going to be fun, come."
We give our names to the guard at the door, after which he lets us in. When we enter the whole house is filled with people, and these are not just the players. The music is very loud and there is dancing, talking and kissing. I feel an arm around my shoulder and when I look up I see Kylian standing between me and Sem "Babies, so glad you're here." Kylian gives us both a kiss on the cheek. "Come on, I'll guide you to the nice people."
When we arrive at a large table with a bench outside, we see some players sitting. "Guys, this is Sem and this is Isabella." I wave shyly at them. I see someone turn around and then I look straight into Jude's dark brown eyes. I give a quick little smile and then look back at Sem "Do you want something to drink? I'll get it."
"Cocktail please. Thanks." I nod and walk to the bar with the bartender. When I sit there I sigh deeply. "You okay?" I hear next to me. When I look up I see Jude standing next to me. I nod softly after which he gives the bartender an order. "Not your kind of parties, I suppose?" "What do you mean by that?" I ask slightly irritated. As if I don't like a party, how dare he. "These kind of high-minded parties, with people who have way too much money." "Capitalism is not really my thing." "That's why you got along so well with my mother." I look up at Jude. This is the first time I've had an extensive conversation with him without him badmouthing me. "Did she say that?" He nods, takes the drinks from the bartender and signals me that I'll see him at the table in a moment.
I give my order to the bartender, and when I get the drinks I take them to the table. Sem takes a cocktail, stands up and takes my hand "We're going to dance too" she says while watching Kylian dancing. We take a place on the small dance floor where several people are dancing when Gimme Gimme Gimme by Abba is played. I start laughing and the moves start coming. Sem has to laugh but then follows me too.

After an hour of dancing we walk back to the table. I sit down next to a dark boy, who looks very sweet. He sticks out his hand "Vini jr. Nice to meet you." "Ah the goal scorer" I say laughing. "Very good. And you are?" "My girlfriend" says Jude who is sitting on the other side of him. "Ah is this your girl?" Vini says happily. "So nice to meet you." He stands up, gives me a look so that I can sit on the other side of him what is next to my fake relationship. I thank him, stand up and sit down next to Jude who puts an arm around me. "Eyes on me" he whispers in my ear. I turn to him "I'm not that easy." "You are for red boys." I roll my eyes. "Red is my favorite colour." "I prefer you wear white." "With you name on the back?" I say smootly. He winks at me and nods.
We play some drinking games. Luckily I always avoid drinking. Jude on the other hand is the only one not drinking. He is the water boy, because he has to drive home later. The rest are staying the night or taxi?
After my fourth yawn in a minute I stand up "I'm going home babe. Are you staying here?" I ask Sem who immediately looks at Kylian and then back at me "Yeah I think so.. do you mind?" I give her a hug "No, I'll fix an uber." "I'll take you home" I hear someone say. When I look next to me I see Jude standing there. "You don't have to." "That's fine, I'm going home too and it's on the route." "Okay, if you want to do that?"
When we want to go outside we are stopped by the guard. "There are a lot of paparazzi outside. I can't keep them away." "Is my car in front?" Jude asks him. "Yes sir." Jude turns to me "You okay with that?" "Yeah we have to" I say with a sigh. "I still have face masks for you?" The guard says to us. "Thanks." Jude takes them and gives me one. He nods to the guard and he opens the door. I am immediately blinded by all the flashes. I feel a hand in my hand and when I quickly look up I see that it is Jude's. I take my other hand in his arm and follow him closely. "Are you official together?" "How did you guys meet?" "Isabella how do you fall in love with someone who has a bad image?"
We reach the car and Jude opens the door, I get in and he runs to the side of the steering wheel. He steps on the gas and we drive away.
"Do you ever get used to the paparazzi?" I ask after it's been quiet for a while. "No, never, you learn to live with it but you don't get used to it."
When we arrive at Sem and mine airbnb I turn to Jude "Thanks for taking me home and for being out there." He nods and I get out. As I walk around the car to reach the door of the airbnb I hear Jude say "I'll pick you up tomorrow at 11am for Birmingham." I nod and walk into the house.
