When Isabella has a chance to play the leading role in a new major film and Laliga's top player Jude Bellingham has to work on his reputation, the two are linked together as a PR stunt. A small problem, they can't get along with each other at all.
For New Years Eve I got a dress from Jude and Givenchy themselves that I just put on. The girls and I stood in the big bathroom for hours to get ready for tonight. When I put on my dress after my make-up and hair I see everyone looking at me with big eyes. "Holy fuck Isa." "Jude unpacked" Chloe adds to Sem. I look at myself in the mirror when I start laughing. "He's really beautiful isn't he." "You're gorgeous."
When we've all dressed and are ready, we walk to the bar of the hotel where the men are having a drink. When we walk in we see all the faces turn. I look for, of course, the dark brown eyes and when I meet them I suddenly feel very insecure. I see his eyes slide from mine to my body when he then stands up and walks towards me. "Wow" is all he can say, before placing his hand on his neck.
I feel myself getting shy as I say "You look gorgeous too, taxi stealer." He starts laughing and rolls his eyes. "Isabella Blue, you look way too good" Trent says after which he starts whistling. I feel myself blushing until Jude says "She's mine." I feel his hand on my back as I look at him with a gentle smile.
"Ready to party?" Someone shouts until I see it's Jobe shouting it. When I see him my eyes widen "What are you doing here?" I say enthusiastically after which everyone starts laughing. "I brought even more fun." He nods towards me and when I turn around I see my brothers and their girlfriends standing there laughing. I feel tears welling up in my eyes as I feel Jude rubbing his hand over my back. "New Year should be celebrated with friends and family" he says laughing. I turn to him and put my arms around him. "Thank you thank you thank you."
We take a taxi to the location where the NYE party is held. When we get out we are blinded by the flashes of hundreds of photographers. I feel Jude's hand slide into mine and then he whispers in my ear, "I'm with you, beautiful." I have to laugh at him as I give his hand a quick squeeze.
It's the first time I don't feel anxious from all the attention. Partly because of Sem who walks ahead of me, but mainly because of Jude who is always there for me.
