In this way, Wei Ying and Wangji were heading towards Wangji's house. Throughout the journey, Wei Ying was talking to Wangji, but Wangji wasn’t giving him any response. Eventually, they reached Wangji's clan. As soon as they arrived at the clan, Wangji's brother, Xichen, met them at the gate.

Seeing Wei Ying, Xichen was surprised and asked Wangji, "Who is this?" 

Wangji replied, "He saved my life, and he will stay with me." 

Xichen nodded and said, "I will get a guest room ready for him." 

But Wangji interrupted, saying that Wei Ying would stay with him in his own room. Hearing this, Xichen was astonished, but he didn't ask anything further.

In Wangji's room, 

Wei Ying and Wangji enter. Wei Ying goes straight to the bed, sits down, and says, "I didn’t know you were a prince of a clan. But why do you live in such a small place? I heard that royals live in palaces." 

Wangji replies, "In our clan, everyone lives in their own place like this," and then he gets back to his work. 

Wei Ying nods and lies down on the bed because he was very tired, and soon he falls asleep. 

After a little while, Wangji comes back and sees that Wei Ying has fallen asleep. Wangji looks at him for a while and then leaves to inform his uncle about Wei Ying staying there, but not revealing his real Identity
