Hey yallllll, sorry about forgetting abt this book. I got caught up with life and... some real world issues. But I'm not going to bring the mood down, I actually decided to write to make me happy. I may write more than one chapter today to make it up. You guys are awesome by the way, thanks for the votes and support. Uh yesh!
This chapter has some mature themes, self-hatred, infliction of emotional pain, indications of self harm. I will have a warning at the start and end of the TW, because these topics can sometimes be too much.
Please seek help if you need it, trust me we al, need help sometimes, so stay safe and take care of yourself.

It had been a month. A month. Since the trip, since the dream. It still messed with Colby's mind, but he hadn't had any other dreams like that since. The video had been posted two days ago. Already, comments had flooded the video. It had been one of their more interesting videos. Colby though, was sitting on his bed, scrolling through TikTok. He was just mindlessly scrolling, liking just about every post on his feed.
Then a video came up, he was going to scroll past it, then he saw Sam. It was a ship edit. Knowing that made Colby's face heat up. Because of embarrassment, right? He was about to scroll when he slipped up. Shit.
He had liked the video, he immediately unliked it. But he knew the damage had been done, someone had probably already seen it.
He threw his phone, it hit the wall with a loud thud, muttering something about being an idiot. He rubbed he temples, placing both of his hands on his face, covering his eyes.
"Colby?" Sam said, peaking his head in the doorway. "You good, I heard a loud thud?"
Colby dragged his hands down his face, brushing his cheeks with his sweatshirt sleeves.
"Yeah I'm fine Sam." He sighed, "Just threw my phone, did s'thing stupid." Sam looked confused, but nodded. Surprisingly he didn't leave, he walked farther in the room. He approached the phone on the ground, and picked it up.
"Here. Be carful, I will not repair the wall if you get a hole in it." Sam chuckled lightly, handing Colby the phone.
Colby smiled, exhaling all of his worries, at least for the time being. "Wanna watch something? I'm kinda bored." Sam asked, shifting around nervously. He did that a lot, when he was anxious or had something on his mind.
"Sure," Colby smirked, knowing what he wanted to watch. "I have an idea."
Sam climes into Colby's bed leaving around a foot of distance between them. Colby had already turned on the tv. He went to Hulu and started typing in something.
"Colbyyyyyy, you know I hate this movieeee." Sam cried, "He freaks me out." (Me too Sam)
Colby just laughed and clicked on the play button, 'the shining' that's the movie they would watch.
(I recently re-watched the shining, and I remembered why I hated the movie when I was younger.)
"God, his eyebrows freak me out!" Sam mumbled into Colby's shoulder. They had been watching the movie, it had been about an hour. During that hour they had gotten closer and closer, until Sam eventually was clinging to Colby for dear life.
Sam loved horror moves and the paranormal, obviously that was his job. But he hated the shining. He always said it was something about 'his freaky eyebrows' or would say 'he looks like he touches minors'. Which Sam wasn't necessarily wrong.
