*Mabel POV*
"Do you think Soos would care if I played Taylor Swift in the gift shop??" I'm currently leaning on the Stan statue with Pacifica sitting in a chair and Olive restocking shelves.
"Probably not. He leaves me in charge of the queue." Olive tosses me the phone.
"No wonder the songs are depressing." Pacifica said, jokingly.
"Rude." We all chuckle. The music started playing and the song Love Story started playing. We all start jamming, with Pacifica being locked on her phone, smiling. I do what any other best friend would do, I steal her phone.
"Hey, Mabel, give it back." I ran away to see who she was smiling at and I couldn't believe who it was.
"Are you smiling at texts from my brother?!?!"
"OOOOOOOOO" Olive backed me up.
"What?? No."
"Awe, is it cause you two are literally a romeo and juliet story??????? Adorable!!!!!" She ripped her phone out of my hand.
"C'mon Mabel, don't start this conspiracy again."
"What conspiracy??"
"Only the fact that Pacifica and Dipper are made for each other."
"We are not. We're friends, nothing more, nothing less."
"I don't know, you guys were giving googly eyes at each other the other night at your party." Olive stated, earning a high five from me.
"Oh my god, those were drunk eyes at best."
"Wow Olive, I didn't know we were in Egypt." I started.
"Me neither, but we must be considering someone is in denial." We laugh and high five again. Something about us right now is really vibing and I'm loving it. Pacifica blushes. Suddenly, the door opens and there's the man of the hour.
"Hey guys." Dipper waves to me and Olive then at Pacifica, which makes him just as red.
"Hey Dipper. Wanna hang out with us until Olive's shift is over??"
"I would but I gotta get on the best man's speech. I don't know why, but the words are just escaping me."
"Well I'm sure you'll write something great." Olive encouraged.
"I hope so."
"Don't worry Dipper, you'll figure it out, you always do." Pacifica stated with a smile.
"Thanks Pacifica." The two stared at each other then looked away awkwardly. "Well, I uh ...I should get to it........um...bye." And with that, he was gone. Pacifica looked at the doorway then back at us.
"What??"
"Nothing, just having trouble breathing."
"Same, the tension in this room is just too thick." We laugh and high five again. Pacifica sighed.
"You two are ridiculous."
"Not as ridiculous as you for thinking for one second that you're fooling us." I stated.
"I'm not fooling you. I don't have feelings for him."
"Fine. You don't have to say it, we know. And for the record, he likes you too." Olive's comment made Pacifica perk up.
