The sudden flap of numerous wings surprised Issei. Whereas it should've been just another regular evening for Issei, being summoned by his most regular customer, he was sitting there, staring wide eyes at the said customer who had 12 Black wings coming out of his back.
"I'm Azazel." The man with Black hair and Blonde locks said with clear amusement in his voice, "I'm the leader of the Fallen Angels."
'A-Azazel... Isn't he the Governor General of the Fallen Angels...?' Issei thought to himself, "Why-?"
"I figured Kokabiel was scheming something..." Azazel said looking down at Issei, "... and decided to come see for myself."
To say Issei was surprised to hear such claims from the Governor General himself, was an understatement.
"I also have an interest in your Boosted Gear." Azazel said eyeing Issei's left hand, who immediately covered it, "Although, Albion seems to have done his job."
"Albion..?" Issei asked while an image of a man in White armor appeared in his mind, 'The White One....'
"I couldn't get involved myself, so I sent someone instead." Azazel confirmed, "Well, he at least followed through this time."
"So, it's you..." Issei said, his bangs covering his eyes.
"Hm?"
"So, it's your fault..." When Issei looked up at Azazel, tears were glittering at the corner of his eyes, "It's your fault I couldn't suck on the President's and Artoria-san's Boobs!"
"Hahahaha...."
'Of course... that other woman in silver clad armor...' Said the Governor General to himself, '... I'll have to look into her background, it would seem.'
"Is that so? My bad, kid."
"If things kept going the way they were," Issei said clenching his fists, still not believing his luck, "My life-long dream would've been..."
"Sorry to say this, boy..." Azazel interrupted Issei before he could finish, "...but you aren't strong enough to beat someone of Kokabiel's level yet... No matter how much you power-up."
'No way...'
"Anyway, with all that happening..." Azazel sighed seeing the dejected look on Issei's face, "...the leaders of Angels, Fallens and Devils have decided to hold a summit."
'A... summit?'
TimeSkip: ORC room
In a Victorian Styled room lit by the golden hues of the setting sun, the Occult Research Club (ORC) gathered around a beautifully arranged table for evening tea. Artoria Pendragon, dressed in her regal yet simple attire, sat with perfect posture, sipping from a delicate teacup. The peaceful ambiance was filled with the sound of birds singing and the soft clinking of cups and saucers.
Rias Gremory was engaged in light conversation with Akeno, while, Koneko nibbled quietly on a plate of sweets, her eyes occasionally drifting toward the ongoing conversations, but mostly focused on Artoria.
The woman in question remained mostly silent, her presence alone commanding an aura of respect and calm.
However, Kiba Yuuto, sitting just across from Artoria, found himself unable to keep his eyes off her. Every few moments, he glanced up, only to quickly look away when Artoria's emerald-green eyes met his gaze. Each time, a faint blush crept up his cheeks, and he returned to focusing on his tea.
Artoria, for her part, noticed every single glance Kiba gave her. She raised her eyebrows in curiosity, each time their eyes met. She tried to maintain her composure, but the way Kiba's usually calm and collected demeanor wavered was hard to ignore. The legendary King of Knights was unused to such attention, and it flustered her in ways she hadn't experienced before.
