Spain.

Did you know that Spain was named after a rabbit?

Yes, rabbits. Spain means the land of rabbit due to the extraordinary abundance of this popular animal.

And every time we hear about Spain, one thing enter our mind and that is they conquered the Philippines for 333 years. Kaya ang dami nating similarities sa Spain — like Spanish language, Spanish surnames — And most importantly they introduced us the Catholicism.

Kaya it's a freaking dream come true na makatapak dito sa Spain at makapag bakasayon ng isang linggo.

My first 3 days were fine, punta sa mga historical places and landmarks, kumain ng kung ano ano at uminom ng beer with my best friend, Jessica.

We traveled to different countries once or twice a year para reward sa pagiging alipin namin ng pera — After ko kasing maka graduate ng College ay nag review agad ako for LET exam and passed it.

Now, I'm teaching in one of prominent University in Manila — which is my alma mater too.

And guess what?

I teach History.

"Charlie!" Sigaw ni Jessica sakin.

But I'm taking pictures with my camera.

Nasa Royal Palace of Madrid kami ngayon at namamasyal — gusto kong sulitin ang bawat araw namin dito sa Spain.

Kaya click dito, click doon.

I want many memories and souvenirs as much as possible dahil baka matagalan bago ako mabalik dito sa Spain.

"Charlie!"

Everything's shining and screaming expensive.

Para akong bumalik sa unang panahon.

And this actually fulfilled my dreams as a history teacher —— Every thing here in the palace has a history.

— which make my heart so happy.

Pero napatigil ako sa pag lalakad ng mapunta sa Trone room ng palasyo.

Imagine makita mo ng personal ang dating mga trono ng hari at reyna ng bansang Espanyal.

"Ola.."

Napatingin ako sa baba dahil don nanggaling ang boses ng nagsalita —— its a very beautiful little girl na mukhang prinsesa, brown na brown ang mga mata. "Oh hi.."

I think she's 5 or 6 year old.

Titig na titig sya sakin. "Te duele algo?"

Nalito na ako.

Because i can't speak and understand Spanish. I wish i could pero English at Tagalog lang talaga ang kaya ng powers ko.

Dahan dahan akong umupo so we can be eye to eye level. Grabe, sobrang gandang bata. "Can you speak English?"

At tumango sya. "Why are you crying?"

I chuckles. Actually tama sya, naiyak ako — na overwhelm. "I'm just.." Teka. Paano ba ieexplain sa kanya. "Happy." And it get her even more confused. "Wait, why are you alone? Where are your parents?"
