Chapter 12

I got unexpected interaction with the future Queen of Spain, Leonor. Sobrang na shock ako dahil akala ko 40 or 50s na yong sinasabi ni Kate na Leonor.

Eh dyosko, 18 palang sya. 

Matanda pa ako.

Hindi nagtagal si Leonor, umalis narin sya dahil marami pa syang bisita na dapat aakikasuhin. 

But those dew minutes were memorable. 

"Wow, she's too young to be a Queen." Bulong ko kay Kate habang naglalakad kami pabalik sa party.

"She is not young to be a Queen of one powerful country." Sagot ng MonDragon. "Beside, she is ready."

Ewan ko ba kung anong pumasok sa isip at niyakap ko si Kate. "Thank you."

And she didn't mind at all. "For?"

Kinikilig parin ako.  "Na sinama ako dito." 

Because i got the chance to meet Leonor. Another memories, another story to tell to my family, friends and students. 

"Sayang hindi ako nakapag pa picture." Nakakapanghinayang. 

"I can ask her —" Kate offer. 

Pero nahiya na ako. "Nako wag na." Sabay tawa. "Okay na na meet ko sya in person."

"Glad to hear." Kate seems satisfied with my answer. 

"Ms. MonDragon." 

Napahinto kami ni Kate ng may tumawag sa kanya and i know him. The Prime Minister of London. 

At hinayaan ko naman syang makipag chikahan sa mga malalaking tao —— hindi rin naman ako makakarelate sa pag-uusapan nila.

Kaya kumain nalang ako. Bigla kasi akong nagutom. 

I got myself some sushi and tempura, may steak but I don't feel like eating it. 

Nang biglang dumilim sa event hall at may tumutugtog na sweet and romantic song. 

May paisa isang pair na pumupunta sa gitna ng para magsayaw.

"Ola." Napalingon ako sa lalaking nakatayo sa tabi ko and he look Spanish. He is handsome actually, very dazzling. "El sushi es bueno?" 

And surprisingly, nagets ko ang sinabi ko but.. "Can you speak in English?" 

He smile. "Are sushi good?" 

Lumunok muna bago ako sumagot. "Actually yes, they are good. Freshly made."

"I'm scared to try it." He seems nervous. 

I look at him curiously. "Why is that?" 

"Mm because it's raw fish."

Actually nagets ko sya, hindi naman kasi lahat ng tao ay kumakain ng sushi — just by the thought of it's raw fish ay talagang kakabahan ka. 

"Oh, it's not that bad." I smile at him politely. "You should try." 

At huminga sya ng malalim bago kumuha ng platito at kumuha ng isang sushi. "Should i eat it all or?" 

"All." Now I'm waiting for him to eat the damn sushi. 

At sinubo nya naman. "Mm." I'm watching his reaction. "Not bad."

Napangiti ako. "Add some wasabi and soy sauce next time." 

The guy chuckle. "Sorry, I'm such a pain." At inilahad nya ang kamay sakin. "By the way, I'm Enrico."
