Violet struggles to open the door as she walks into the house, her hand full of groceries, "Mom, I'm home!"

Violet's mom peers her head around the corner and smiles. "Hello, sweetheart! How was school today?" She asks, approaching Violet and helping her with the bags.

"It was very nice, thank you!"

"I'm glad, how was rehearsal?"

Violet's mom, Fiona Keyy, has always been so supportive of Violet and her singing career. She knows how much it means to Violet, and seeing her daughter on stage makes her heart swell with happiness. Like everyone else in the audience, she can tell how much she enjoys performing as much as they love seeing it.

"It was good. I was the main priority, y'know, because the rest of the group wasn't there."

They both place the groceries on the floor, Violet huffing angrily as she hopped up on the counter. She was still upset with the group for not showing up. She wanted them to prioritize this, but she understood that she can't force them, and the fact that they're seniors doesn't help either. Fiona crosses her arms and looks at her daughter with concern.

"So, do you think they're calling it quits?"

"They better not! After all the work we put in to actually be a part of this performance, we have to be there, together." Fiona sighs, rubbing her temple.

"What about Rowan, how is he?" Violet's eyes grew sad, looking out the kitchen window.

"He didn't show up either. Though there is one thing that separates him and the rest of that group."

"What's that, sweetheart?"

"I can tell he feels the same way about them like I do. And, it's Rowan! After nine years of friendship you'd think I know what he feels." Violet smiles, Fiona giggling a bit.

"You two are inseparable. Trust me, he'll come around to realize that you are the most special thing that could ever appear in someone's life."

Violet hugs her mom tightly, hopping off the counter afterwards to help put the groceries away. Once that was finished, Violet felt a tug on her leggings. Turning, she finds her little sister, Crystal.

"Oh hello!" Violet says, picking her up and spinning her around. Crystal giggled and hugged her big sister.

"How was school today, pumpkin? Have any new drawings to show me?"

"Ooo, yeah! Yeah! Come see, Vi!" Violet puts Crystal back on the floor gently before being tugged away by her. She laughs, waving goodbye to her mom as she is swept away. Fiona chuckles, turning back to the kitchen to make dinner.

Laying on her bed after spending time with her little sister, Violet opened her phone and started scrolling through Swift-a-gram for a bit. She saw a lot of photos of the party, and clearly they're still there, not a care in the world. She scrolled down far enough to see Rowan dancing with this pretty girl, his infamous smirk plastered on his face. Violet frowned at the sight.

'He's not having as much fun as the rest of them.'

She continued scrolling until she got a message notification.

'hey violet! It's camilla! Just wanna confirm with you lol'

Violet giggled, getting off of Swift-a-gram to text her back.

'Yup, it's me! How's trumpet practice going?'

'I have a lot to learn still, so it's still kinda hard :/'

'You'll get there eventually, Camilla! Hang in there!'

':) thank you! What're you doing rn?'

'Just relaxing for now, me and my little sister just hung out for a bit, she was showing me her drawings :3'
