"C'mon! Hold it, Violet! You can do it!"

Violet spun around once more before landing on her feet and continuing on with the dance.

"Good job, yes! That's how it should be!"

She smiled brightly at him, pushing her body farther to excel. As she finished up, she earned a round of applause from Mr. P.

"That was amazing, Violet!"

She blushed and twirled a bit. She was just practicing "Therapy" again, her duet with Rowan, considering she wanted to make this piece a bit more complex for the audience to enjoy. She planned to rehearse more with Mr. Petracki on the weekend, since the performance is so soon. She asked the rest of the group, but, as she expected, they were definitely not on board.

'Hey guys, if you wanna come down to the school me and Mr. P are rehearsing on Saturday :)'

'LMAO hell no Violet'

'Yeah I wanna sleep :/'

'Oh okay'

She didn't know what she was expecting, but she wasn't surprised. She wanted to still feel angry at them for not having commitment, but she was honestly too tired to continue being disappointed. Instead, she's vowed to herself that she'll stay focused and get ready for the show.

"I honestly don't know what else to do, we drilled a lot."

"Why don't you take a break for a minute? Would you like water?"

"Oh yes please!"

Violet sat at the edge of the stage, drinking the water as Mr. P handed it to her and watched him make sure that Max was okay. Both of the Petrackis had a lot on their plate, so they both were rehearsing today. But, that also meant that no one could watch little Max, so Violet offered to just bring him to their rehearsal. Mr. P seemed very grateful, so she was glad.

"Hey, David? Do you think that we could just play any song and I could sing and dance to it?"

David turned back to her, a soft smile on his face.

"What, like last time? Sure! It seemed to get you in the right frame of mind."

"I totally agree."

She hopped off the stage and walked over to them. She picked up Max and squished his cheeks.

"How are you, little man?"

"Vi, Vi!"

Having a little sister really helped Violet understand what the Petrackis were going through, so she was able to handle Max with ease. She honestly loves spending time with him, and there had been the odd occasion where she actually babysat him. Max actually did really remind Violet of Crystal when she was younger. So curious and outgoing, and a bit stubborn when the time comes. Max gripped the finger she was waving in front of him and Violet sat down on a chair with him on her lap.

"Oh, David, he's got me in the death grip."

"Uh oh." They both giggled. Violet really loved spending time with them, so it really was a plus when it came down to rehearsal.

"So which song are you thinking, more upbeat or more slow?"

"Oh uhm, maybe 'Bound to You' to start off, I can make a lineup when I'm singing."

"Alright, go for it."

He handed her the device that he played the songs through, and she walked on stage and sat down on a chair. She leaned back into it and focused on her breathing. Violet looked down at the device and pressed play on the music and then continued to look through the music she downloaded for future use.
