A soft melody was heard as two pairs of hands steadily pressed the keys together. Soft humming was echoing the piece, making sure to get the notes right. Victor joined his old friend Bethany in playing after she had to wait for Mr. P to get to the rehearsal room.
"Thanks for waiting with me."
Both of their hands were pressing the notes perfectly together, clearly showing how skilled they both were. Though, you can tell how much passion one player had over the other.
"What's taking David so long?"
"Well, little Max woke up with a fever, and Linda had to go and run a few errands. His hands are pretty full until she gets back. I'm surprised he didn't just reschedule the lesson."
Beth hummed in response as the two continued to play. A buzz interrupted them, and Victor paused his playing to answer Camilla's question.
"Tutoring?"
"Yep."
"Oh, how is she? Is she improving at all?"
"Surprisingly, yes!"
He turned to Beth, squinting slightly to emphasize his next point. "Just very slowly."
"I'm here, I'm here!"
Mr. P rushed into the room, looking frantic and scrambled. The duo giggled a bit at him.
"So sorry for the wait, Beth!"
"Don't worry, I had good company, as usual." Beth blushed, looking up at Victor with a soft gaze. David smiled at them.
"You two have to show me the duet you are working on." They nodded, and Mr. P started the lesson. Victor walked away, waving farewell to Beth and David.
"Well, I'll see you tomorrow!"
"Yeah!"

During Victor's lessons the next day, Camilla and Victor are on better terms than they started. Camilla always thought of Victor as a self-obsessed french horn player, while Victor thought of Camilla as someone who didn't belong in the band. But now, after checking Camilla's homework and the both of them realizing she only got one wrong, they felt better about each other. Of course, Camilla still had a lot to learn when it came to band, she was getting better, and they both acknowledged it. Walking out of the school, they were talking a little more on what Camilla was still a little stuck on.
"So just remember to focus on signatures and the clefs."
"Okay, got it! Thanks, Victor!"
Victor nodded, a smirk on his face. Then, he heard something in the distance, and Camilla focused on it behind him.
"Oh look! It's Violet!"
Camilla started to wave at her, while Victor turned around to see her. She was roller skating around the school with a blue tank top tucked into a black skater skirt with shorts underneath. Of course the weather is getting a little cooler as autumn nears, so she is also carrying a super light jacket as she skates. She notices Camilla's frantic waving, smiling as she skates up to them.
"Hey you two! Just finished a lesson?"
"Yes we did! What are you doing, just skating around?" Violet giggled, looking down at her feet and doing a spin for them. Camilla claps and smiles brightly while Victor blushes.
"Pretty much. Rowan ice skates for hockey and recommended that I should skate because he thought I would find it fun. Turns out, I do like it. Though, I much rather prefer roller skating to ice skating."
