Draco led Emma out of the pub, his expression serious and resolute. “We need to get you somewhere safe. Come with me.”

Emma followed Draco, her mind still spinning from the night’s events. Draco mounted his broomstick, extending his hand to her. “Hold on tight,” he instructed.

Emma hesitated for a moment but then grasped Draco’s hand. They took off into the night sky, the wind rushing past them as they soared above the city. The view was breathtaking, but Emma’s mind was too overwhelmed to fully appreciate it.

After a short flight, they arrived at Malfoy Manor. The sprawling estate, with its grand architecture and imposing stone walls, loomed before them. Emma’s eyes widened in disbelief.

“Is this... your home?” she asked, astonished.

Draco nodded. “Yes, this is Malfoy Manor. It’s the safest place for you right now.”

As they landed and made their way to the grand entrance, they were met by Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy. Both were impeccably dressed, but their expressions turned cold upon seeing Emma.

“Draco, who is this?” Narcissa demanded, her voice dripping with disdain. “Why have you brought a filthy Muggle into our home?”

Lucius’s eyes narrowed as he assessed Emma with a scowl. “Draco, have you lost your senses? This is not the sort of company we keep. She’s a Muggle, and it’s beneath us.”

Draco stepped forward, his face set with determination. “She’s not just any Muggle. She’s someone who’s been through a lot, and she needs our help. I’m bringing her here for her safety.”

Narcissa’s expression hardened. “You’re putting the family’s reputation at risk by bringing a Muggle into our home. This is unacceptable.”

Lucius added, his voice sharp. “You should have thought about the consequences before involving yourself with someone of her kind. We won’t tolerate this disruption.”

Emma stood quietly, feeling both intimidated and overwhelmed by the Malfoys’ hostility. Draco placed a protective hand on her shoulder, his gaze unwavering. “I understand your concerns, but she’s here because she needs protection. I won’t let her face any more danger.”

Narcissa and Lucius exchanged a look of disapproval, but Narcissa’s voice softened slightly. “Very well, Draco. But know that this will reflect on you. If you wish to help her, you must do so under our terms.”

Draco nodded firmly. “I understand. We’ll keep her safe, and I’ll make sure everything is handled appropriately.”

With that, Narcissa and Lucius retreated into the manor, leaving Draco and Emma standing at the entrance. Draco guided Emma inside, leading her through the opulent halls of the manor.

As they walked, Emma glanced around in awe at the grandeur of the estate. Despite the hostility she had encountered, she felt a measure of security being in such a place.

Draco turned to her, his expression softening. “You’re safe here for now. Let’s get you settled and make sure you’re taken care of.”

Emma managed a faint smile, her emotions still raw but grateful for Draco’s protection. “Thank you, Draco. I don’t know what I would have done without your help.”

Draco led her to a guest room, ensuring she was comfortable and had everything she needed. As she settled in, the enormity of the night’s events began to sink in, but with Draco’s support, she felt a flicker of hope amidst the turmoil.
