Zack trudged through the five inches of snow, shivering. A plane zoomed overhead, doing a few loopty-loops before landing a few feet ahead. Zack rolled his three eyes, smirking a bit as the area around his feet warmed up and he quickly ran over to the plane, grabbing onto the bar.

“Sheesh, Trevor, did you have to take so long getting here?” The king asked.

Trevor crossed his arms, a playful smirk on his lips as he shut the door. “Is ten minutes too slow for you, Your Highness?”

Zack shot the young man a glare. “Just take off! And please don't do any of your crazy tricks.”

Trevor nodded, getting back in the pilot's seat. After flying for a while, a massive, sprawling wild jungle began to form below.

“So-” Trevor said, pressing a button on the dashboard and spinning around in the chair. “Why does the King of Hell need to be dropped off in the jungle outside my Mom's kingdom? Wouldn't it just be easier to have me take you to the actual kingdom?”

Zack shook his head. “No offense, but I'd really rather not have your mom find out you're helping me. You know how she gets.”

Trevor nodded thoughtfully at that, spinning back around. “So I drop you off in the jungle and you just pretend you walked all this way… for what, exactly?”

Zack was quiet for a while, flames creeping up his shoulders. “It's hard to explain. “He said coldly. The tone took Trevor by surprise — He'd never heard his boyfriend talk like that.

“Ooook then.” The young man muttered, grabbing the wheel. After a few minutes of agonizing awkward silence, Trevor spoke up again. “Zack, you wouldn't happen to have a baby crocodile with you, would you?”

Zack looked up, confused. “What? No, why would I ha-” He was cut off by the place violently shaking, throwing him roughly to the floor.

Trevor cursed as he poked his head out the window. “Zack, you might want to grab onto something!” he shouted, ducking back inside, narrowly avoiding the laser aimed for his head. Zack's eyes widened, the metal pole bending as he gripped onto it.

“How'd they find you?!” He yelled over the increasing noise.

“I don't know! I thought you said they were trapped in a temple!” Trevor shot back, spinning the plane into a barrel roll.

Zack shut his eyes, trying not to gag from the motion as his grip increased on the pole. “Well they were until three weeks ago! That's why I was coming here!”

Trevor stopped the barrel roll, dipping below the thick jungle trees. “They escaped, and you waited three weeks to try and tell someone!? They nearly ended the world!”

“Well no one in the alliance ever responds to my letters, so I…” Zack hesitated, looking down. “I'm sorry, ok?!”

Trevor groaned. “It's fine, just- let's just get to the kingdo- Oh sh-” The plane was sent tumbling into the trees.

Zack sat up, rubbing his head. “Ow… Everything hurts…” He muttered, wincing at the pain in his head.

Trevor looked up. “Well, I wouldn't say everything for me. It's mainly my arm.”

Zack pushed himself up. “Here, let me look at it. It might be broken.”

Trevor let out a dry laugh. “That's one way to put it…” He said, staring at the spot his forearm used to be.

Zack instantly recoiled, falling to the ground. “Oh Axolotl, your mom is gonna kill me.”

“That’s your biggest concern right now?! My arm is gone!”

“Right, right, sorry!” Zack said, quickly summoning a tourniquet and bandages. “Not to worry you, but we should probably get going before they find us again.”

Trevor nodded. “Right…” He tried to push himself up but fell again wincing in pain.

“Whoa, babe! You have to be careful, I'm still working on helping you.” Zack said, finishing the tourniquet.

Trevor nodded. “Right, sorry. So, why are the Pines' chasing you?” The green haired demon asked, using his boyfriend to pull himself up.

Zack shrugged. “Hell if I know. Something about me kidnapping their ‘Grunkles’ or something like that. I offered to make a deal with them, but apparently they didn't like that.”

Trevor nodded, grabbing onto the bar. “Yeah, they're weird about that. Could you carry me, I think the blood loss is making the world spin-”

Zack caught Trevor before he fell, cursing under his breath. Carefully, he slung his good arm over his shoulder and started walking.
